Keep sleeping on Jim Ned. Do not be surprised if they win the district with Wall and Eastland. Had a stud move in and folks are going to be surprised by this team. Had losses but all teams do but the JV has been undefeated for the last 2 seasons. This Jim Ned team may be the fastest team Jim Ned has fielded in the last 15 years. They handled Eastland last year and gave wall a win with 2 pick sixes. Also both Wall and Eastland play at Jim Ned this year.

Region 1 IMO will not go to Wall this year. They will be good but not what they have been. The district they are in will be really tough with Jim Ned, Eastland , Clyde and Breckenridge all fighting to win the district. Jim Ned returns 21 Seniors from a team that gave Shallowater all they could handle in the playoffs last year. Eastland will be super tough as well especially with a highly recruited QB that has verbally committed to Texas Tech as a Sophomore. Clyde and Breck well they come ready to play every game. I honestly don't know who the Region 1 favorite is but I think the teams I mentioned will have a say in it. I do agree Shallowater and Brock will be down but I never count out Brock no matter what the sport it is. Teams to watch out for: Bushland, Jim Ned, Eastland and Brock. Dark Horse: Whitesboro

It will be interesting to see what Shallowater has this year. I believe they are losing a lot from the team they had last year. Just losing their QB is going to be tough for them. That kid could flat out play. Jim Ned lost some key players but they are returning I believe 21 seniors and their Freshmen and JV were both undefeated last year. In fact I think the JV hasn't lost a game in the last two years. Wall will be tough but they are not what they use to be for sure. Jim Ned should of beat them last year but 2 pick 6's in 30 seconds and an onside kick by wall sealed Jim Ned's fate.

Who is the team to beat? As always you have to look at Brock and Wall. Any surprise teams this coming season?

These rankings look pretty on point in my opinion. Wall, Jim Ned and Eastland all lumped together in the low teens. Each team will be fun to watch this year Eastland with their D-1 QB, Wall with their triple option and Jim Ned will be super fast on Def this year. Not sure about Wall and Eastland but I do know Jim Ned will have 21 seniors this year and will be a tough out for anyone.

Any Predictions for this upcoming season for this district. Should be really competitive this year. I believe the district title will be decided between Eastland, Jim Ned and Wall. If i had to pick i would say Jim Ned because they get Eastland and Wall at home.
