The quiet before the storm!

I'm talking about Tatum defense attempting to stop GW running the ball not GW defense stopping Tatum... Center has nothing to do with it.
Ahh so you are saying that Tatum stopping Horace to around 200 yards has nothing to do with stopping GW running game that is so much better than Centers? Another head scratcher!
-
Not to mention that Tatum held Center to just over 200 yard rushing and yall gave up almost 400 yards.

I think GW will be able to run the ball at will and when GW can run the ball at will they usually control the game and win it.
So Tatum puts up over 100 yards more rushing against Center and you think you will run all over Tatum?

Kilgore did a good job keeping close with GW even with the terrible officiating against them.
I did notice on the big run backs on kick off that their were multiple holds and blocks in the back.

Are they potential D1 players that will develop in a few years or by Friday night ? All that matters is what they are this Friday.
By end of season they will have turned heads.

Why would we even worry about that? But yes he’s a difference maker.
8 minutes ago, BearFan13 said:Considering Kilgore had a D1 athlete on him and still committed an extra player sometimes two I would say he plays a pivotal role in the team, but GW has a lot of athletes. Some that I didn’t even know about until the start of the season
That was my guess. So If Tatum had 2 players that have the potential to be D1 players that you have not seen before they could also make a difference?

Yeah a 1 point loss with having multiple chances to win the game in the second week of the season. Didn’t execute. Kilgore was the better team imo even with all the bs that was on the field, we had a few bounce our way and capitalized. I stand by my statement that Kilgore would beat Tatum handily
How good do you think GW would be without Allen? Is he that much of a deference maker?

You just said two posts above this that you haven’t even seen GW play.....
Kilgore would beat the brakes off of Tatum.
So by your logic Kilgore would beat the brakes off Tatum yet GW could not even beat Center. Now that is a head scratcher.

Proud of it too.
Should be. May not win in football but no comparison in education. I believe GW ranks somewhere over 1000 in public schools and barely got a grade of C at their high school.

So you too believe that with two more weeks of practice and 2 games that Tatum would beat a team that they havent beat the last 5+ years by at least 3TDs
Kinda like thinking that Horace would run all over Tatum and a team like GW who has beat Tatum the past 5 years would be able to stop him. But as I recall he was 23 carries for 386 yards.

Been looking at both programs and very siimilar.
GW winning percentage 56% Tatum 58%
Playoff winning percentage both 60%
Tatum won 2 out of 4 State Appearances
GW ( I though they had an appearance but could not find one)
Common opponent this year is Center.
Tatum 63 - Center 62
GW 40- Center 41
About as even as you come. I would think GW would be favorite because of home field but something tells me Tatum wins in upset!
-
I'm gonna have to make this game. Are they selling tickets at the game? This should be for district championship unless Covid attacks. Watched Center-Tatum and Center-Gladewater game and seems like very similar teams. Will come down to least mistakes and special teams.

That could be true if the offense runs like it did the other night. But I'm quite sure we will be running more smoothly this week. And not putting the ball on the ground 7 times. We honest6coukd had put 40+ on atlanta.i know, could've, should've,would've. But like I said I dont anticipate having those problems any more.
Glad yall are fixing things. I'm sure Tatum is sitting back thinking no need to change anything and going in way over confident.

Do you want us to beg you what you heard or what? Sounds like a crock of to me. Dfield by 18 at least. And go ahead and change your prediction. The more in the crow buffet line to serve the better.
Like I said you still may be right but this could be a game changer. Something I may drive all the way up to Morris County to see. Been waiting 3 years in the making!

I'm still sticking to my moderate 38-20 prediction. Although I think it could be much worse. center is dumpster juice. I just hope the rain stays away so you Tatum fans have zero excuses. Cause god knows yall will be looking for em after this thrashing.
Gonna keep this for later. You may be right but after hearing what I did today you may be eating those words. And I picked Daingerfield. Wish I could change my vote now!!!

No worries. Im good with constructive criticism. I just want us to get better each week. Tatum is loaded. Thats obvious
Does not sound like your good with criticism. Sounds more like your a little delusional.

Why don't you spit before you leave home and let your pamper handle the rest?
Probably just worried that another cheerleader gets electrocuted like last time Tatum played there.

Da Bears will win this one going away.
-
Ain't got a dog in the fight but I can see the Daingerfield posse is delusional as usual. If you think Tatum will be a push over I got sad news. I've been hearing about those Tatum Juniors for years and after watching game they have grown up. I'm gonna say a coin flip on who wins unless #20 plays then I give edge to Tatum.
