I seen in the paper where if we win tonight we will be playing next Friday at Baylor, what’s up with the Friday playoff games after the first round is king picking this, I figured that might hurt on the crowd attendance all the way in Waco it being played on the Friday?

I was noticing on Texan live says Friday games will be audio only due to uil, says games will not have video until contest is complete. Does anyone know if this holds true for playoffs? Thinking they sure do have a lot of Friday big games on there for it just to be audio live!

Lufkin, just wow!!! Had a close friend sit next to me at the game last night and said he had Texas high in a upset, then proceeded to wanna put a frindly wager of $50 on it, I didn’t take the bet because I though it was a joke, boyy I’m glad in didn’t bet. I’m not usually really into other teams playoff games but this one has me all baffled! Congrats to Texas high!

And I’m not looking ahead, I know a lot of football to be played till then

This is off topic, but I’ve notice in other thread with Westfield, mainly a north shore fan here or there. Seems to me they are dismissing Longview as the favorite in D2 and are all about Westfield. I know they are Houston untied, but damn lets them not fool there selfs, Longview is still the top dog in D2 until proven otherwise and one of best in state! I think and I know this is “If” we make it and play Wf, we may be close but think we separate ourselves from them with coaching, qb play and a slightly better defense!

Temple head coach said in a interview with local news, that’s after watching Tyshawn Taylor on tape, he’s the best linebacker at high school level he has ever seen. Pretty awesome!

Gametyme got a question, from your perspective what do you anticipate will be the biggest challenge for temple to overcome to pull the upset? What do you feel that can do offensively that will work against our defense, and lastly what do you feel like the struggle with the most defensively ?

Also their quarterback Willis, isn’t he just now coming back from a knee injury? Our Lbs especially Taylor will eat that up!

Gametyme, I have the up most respect for you as a poster man, and I agree with you a lot, but this my man I feel like you couldn’t be more wrong and kinda feel your really just being a homer and for good reason as you’ve stated your step son is on varsity and will be playing Friday. I’ve seen a little of the offense line and from what I see in talent and size isn’t anyting we haven’t seen over and over last and this year. I just feel like Willis will be runing for his life all night like the rest that come before us. No secret as the state knows this front seven is one of a kind and you can say this and that, but I feel them boys will be intimated enough just from the Venue and environment they have to travel over 4 hours to play. King and the offense will bring the Temple d freshman to seniors back to reality fast. Deep down inside you and the team knows there most likely in for a embarrassing beating come Friday. I just don’t understand, I know lee is improved and better his year, but what in the wold has Lee done to make anyone including Tyler homers think this game will be close or competitive in any aspect. Lee’s 2 backs have had some success vs a lot of the slower and lesser defenses, man this Longview D is just so much different than anything they have faced up to this point, and yet some people very few in Tyler are thinking Lee is going to make it a game and have a chance to possibly pull off the upset. For anyone that thinks that, let me ask. What strong suits do you look at this years Lee team and say ( yah I think they’ll give Longview a game and could possibly win?) I know anything could happen, but if Longview shows up and plays hard and takes it to Lee for 4 quarters, I see it being a 55-17 type game. Will be back to eat my crow if Lee keeps it close!
