I hope we clean up the false starts and off sides penalties! I have never seen a team have as many as we did last week. If not for those we would have scored many more points and given up far fewer in my opinion. I bet the staff gets that corrected this week. Good luck to everyone and travel safely! GO TIGERS!!!

I think I will be making the trip to Wylie East tomorrow evening. I really do not know much about either team this year. Last year MP bested Wylie East 56-42. Was a good game. I sure hope for another good game.

That is what I saw as well and did not read the article. I did drive by there yesterday and lots of construction is underway!

Paris is slightly larger than Marshall according to google and almost 10k more than MP.

MP Chapel Hill has no football. They have voted against it multiple times. Great girls athletic department though. They are primarily a basketball school.

They have been k-8 for years then either go to MP or Chapel Hill/MP

Praireland is not in Paris although its not to far off. Paris Chism is the 3rd high school there. 1 3a 2 4a's and Paris is larger than MP by about 10-15k

MP has a new high school opening next fall so I don't see us moving up. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if we wind up in 4A soon. 3 high schools in little MP is to much. We lost relevance in football when the second one opened. #3 sure won't help!

On a side note MP freshman finished a strong season with another shutout 26-0. We had several shutouts this year and finished 8-1.

I don't have any solid information on injuries other than starting QB was hurt the first play against Lindale and tried to come back on a play and was unable to go. He did limp out for the first play against Jax and handed off on SR night and never returned. Backup went down early in the 4th and the JV QB who was brought up finished the game against Jax. I think MP will give Nac all they got no matter who plays Friday night. MP would love to play spoiler!!!

Mp has a decent offense with good speed. Will be somewhat balanced out of many different sets both under center and gun as well. Defensively has been an on going issue for many years! Mainly tackling and overall lack of size and zero depth. This was expected to be a starting over year and I believe the offense is on schedule to be good the next few years.

Are the Indians still running pretty much the same O as the last couple years?

We seem to have a few less players lately for one reason or another. I have seen several players limping/hobbling the last couple weeks so hopefully we can get healthier by Friday night! As per usual we do have a few that have to play both sides of the ball a lot.

This week Jacksonville comes to MP. These 2 have played some good games the past few years with Jacksonville coming out on top. Can this be the year MP gets a win against the Indians?

Lindale will make its first trip to MP in over a decade best I can remember. We can only hope the rain gives everybody a break this week! I have not kept up with the Eagles so it will be interesting to see how these teams match up.
