How talented will Texas High be? Good QB, WRs? Defense? I haven't heard of much besides beating Lufkin in the 1st round. I know they have talent.

They lost 9 starters the year before on offense including the QB, RB, and all 4 WR's. They still managed to finish #2. They'll lose many again so I doubt they put together another run like that back to back. I think they'll finish 4 or 5. I just think people in here immediately count Whitehouse out when they've made the playoffs what last 10/12 years or so? We just seem very bias on the ole Whitehouse Wildcats it seems. Shocked is a little extreme considering they finished #2 and were the only districts playoff win. Sounds like a lot of luck went their way. I do agree they shouldn't have beat you guys... well several teams shouldn't have beat Nac.

The reporter made no mention of a racist comment. Nobody can tell me what the sign said. What valid information are you producing to make any of this credible? You must be one of those believe all of what you hear and even more of what you see kind of guys. Is that the way the saying goes?

Who I defend and where I’m from can be two different things. Longview Lobos have seen many playoff wins. Fail again on your part. I think there are always issues that arise in several areas in East Texas. But to say Whitehouse ISD is racist is stupidity at its highest degree. Counting the number of minority fans only means they have a different demographic than other schools. Majority white schools are now racists is a very ignorant assumption by anyone. Perception is not reality and that is the case in this conversation. Can you literally count the number of black 5A Division II head football coaches? How’s that perception working for you?

Let me get this right.. So far we have a reporter who didn’t actually say anything about racism? A horrific sign at a volleyball game a “few” years ago that nobody seemed to take a picture of? And other “stories” from every single sport? What about swimming.. anything there? Surely there was some bad things happening on the tennis courts to? Did guys from Tatum say anything? What about Bullard, Troup? Oh man I bet Chapel Hill has some great stories.

You know you’re talking to someone who graduated from Longview. I’ve just been over to Whitehouse, know people there, have family there, & support the culture they are creating. All that racist stuff sounds far fetched. My black friends and family members that have been in that district have never complained. Wait.. maybe their black coach is a secret cover up in a racist society? What do you think?

Hahaha are you saying your season was good because of “quality losses.” Whitehouse lost to College Station a couple years ago - does that make them state runner-ups. Marshall has the talent to be one of those “quarterfinalist” you speak of but underachieves every year. Accomplishments aren’t made from losing to really good teams. Congratulations on having really good athletes. If any of those teams had half the athletes of Marshall you would see the reality of how underachieving Marshall program really is. Nobody said Whitehouse football was better by more wins (which they were last year).. but simply had a good program. What we won’t be denying is the many many many people watching Whitehouse’s QB in the Super Bowl Sunday. I wonder if the town of Whitehouse will even support him since they are so racist. Ha!

Also the sportswriter made no comment that they were racist remarks. The game was at John Tyler. If it was bad enough than the Admin at JT needed to do something about it!!
