Interesting job for him to take. Don’t get me wrong, big time job. But for a former college football coach I wonder why

From what I know, 95% chance this job will be given to someone from the dfw area. Duncanville, Desoto, etc. These jobs are given, usually, based on superintendents recommendations. You hardly ever see a school board go against what the superintendent wants. Which means he will bring in someone he wants.

Seems like he’s seen a lot of success in his time at Pewitt. From what I can tell in this thread he’s been the HC there before, how did they do during those years and why did he step down/ get removed
