  1. Exactly my point! Could have been winning and kept the athletes, should of hired Briles, would have been a powerhouse!
  2. I hope Dekalb wins! Their Dairy Queen is better than Dangerfield's! Say no More!
  3. Tatum should win! They have the best athletes from the surrounding towns. Go EAGLES
  4. No disrespect to Hawkins but this is a product of "everyone is a winner" mindset by UIL. If you don't have a winning record....you don't go to the playoffs. Everyone is not a a winner.
  5. Yep.... how many state championships have been won on Junior High Talent. When I was in 8th grade I ran a 4.4 but got slower by the time I was a senior...LOL
  6. If Briles would have gone to LE the entire district would be different today. Many more wins and many more of the home grown athletes would have stayed where they belong. LE would be a better place!
  7. I guess I was just responding the survey question and my answer would be "yes". "CANCEL FALL SPORTS IF IT HELPS MAKE LIFE NORMAL IN LONG RUN? "
  8. Cancel fall sports for normal life in long run? Pretty interesting that 70% of the people that have responded would rather play football, volleyball and run CC than go back to normal. I would be willing to sacrifice just about anything to go back to "normal".
  9. I can't believe LE football has declined this fast and there is such little interest. I remember back a couple of years ago and this thread would have page after page. Only 9 responses is just sad I wish Coach Davis the best, hopefully he can turn it around!
  10. Jacks and Joes make the "x"s and "o"s work.
  11. I'm guessing they didnt hold him to 45 yards in 97. Craver was a first-team all-state running back in 1997, totaling 3,024 yards on 271 carries (11.2 ypc) with 50 rushing touchdowns. He had 10 200-yard rushing efforts and five 300-yard outings (career-high 340). He finished his prep career second on the all-time single-season rushing and scoring charts behind national leader Kenny Hall of Sugarland, Texas. I would say that the stats would support the fact that he was "decent" LOL
  12. It does raise flags and may cause potential problems but winning sometimes will overshadow those concerns. IMO
  13. Agreed, the schedule was difficult last year so I would think that with this year's schedule LE wins at least 6 games and makes some noise in the playoffs.
