  1. As of right now I see the district finishing like this. 1. Malakoff 6-0 2. Mexia 4-2 3. Teague 4-2 4. Fairfield 3-3 5. Groesbeck 3-3 6. Kemp 1-5 7. Eustace 0-6 Still a lot of ball left to play though. Good luck to yalls Tigers as well!
  2. I disagree. Groesbeck just might be the most banged up team in the district. Just lost their best WR/best offensive player they had left. Could very well see them lose 3 of the last 4. (Fairfield, Teague, Malakoff). This would put them out. Mexia has a shot at 1st or 2nd technically speaking. I think Fairfield and Teague would round out 3 and 4 depending on who wins that game. Big one for my Blackcats this week but they are getting things going and I should get the win.
  3. The community wants to get back to have some stability but as I've said before, the ones making decisions are not making decisions for what's best for the kids. We had a chance to promote a guy that would be here till he retires but we didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if many kids didn't play football next year.
  4. No you’re right. Some blame falls on the community. The community of mexia has to do better as whole. But the ones in charge need to be removed. They do not care about what is best for the kids. They just have their agendas and their buddy buddies.
  5. Hit it right on the head. Mexia will be doing this again in 2 years.
  6. DC at Forney whose defense gave up 50 points a game. We've had that cedar hill culture here before and it doesn't work
  7. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. The powers that be let these kids down. Don't look for Mexia to be very good as long as those people are calling the shots.
  8. It's a cluster f**k to say the least. Got people over here making decisions that arent concerned with whats best for the kids.
  9. Which means I know more bout Mexia than you do. not some scrub on his phone that just heard about Mexia yesterday lol
  10. Mexia's community needs to come together and back the next coach. Although, This move had nothing to do with the community of Mexia. Do not assume something that you know nothing about. Mexia has quite a bit of talent coming up in the junior high, we'll be fine. Lost a great coach and Pitt is getting a good one.
  11. That supt is on his way out the door so this is a bad take.
