Seen both play, lost to both this season, IMHO Tenaha has the best chance to come away with the win,but LL has enough to edge it out.Turnovers will be what decides this one in the end,an untimely turnover or blown assignment maybe.Tigers Have the front seven to slow the lions run game and they really aren't a diehard passing team.THE lions defense is solid up front but may have issues with tenaha's pass game..like I said, blown assignment or turnover could be the deciding factor 🤷

I agree with this Tenaha can spread the field and make life rough for Lovelady.  I'll take Tigers by 10

  2. Fact is in the early 90's it's not that Carlisle was really bad its that there was a slough of really good teams.  In 1992 when Overton dropped down in class, the district had 3 teams on the top 10 state ranking(Overton,Tenaha,Karnack).   Overton that year had a number of players that were All-State.  Vaughn Washington at RB & LB went on to play D1 ball at U of H. Chip Hale was a prototype QB and could sling the ball like no other. And that O-line was a set of workhorses. This will be  a good game and a do believe the rivalry is still there but i think the kiddos are a bit more civil these days. both groups see each other a lot and are close friends. Lets do it Friday night! (WEATHER PERMIT) Big chance of rain.

  3. Mount isn't going to lay down and take a good old fashion. The run game is strong with Ash in the backfield. He doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Indians will need to stack the box and control the outside . Which was a big problem problem last week. Seeing that the passing game for Mount is not a big threat . May run a few corner blitz and leave safety hanging over the top to control the run.. Indian passing gaming should take them to the win this week as long as there is minimal turner overs. Indians for the win!

Clay said he never got within a foot of that sideline all the way to the endzone

watched the video he was a good foot from side line. guess when he high stepped the defender they thought he was tip toeing the line. that one of the worst officiating crews ever.  we have had some of those guys multiple times and each time its a problem.
