Pewitt_Brahmas

Didn't we beat this horse to death last week? Does anyone else get tired of discussing schedules and who you should schedule and who you shouldn't? The schedule is what it is, tough or not, each team still has to play it. Lets just play some ball.

If HS plays like they did against Pewitt, they are going to be tuff to stop. The Mustangs have the capability of being a really good team when they put it all together.

I would love to see Pewitt put it all together like they did against LE. I don't believe they have played to that level since the first game. Unfortunatly, over the last 2 weeks, it has led to very disappointing loses. There is no doubt that Pewitt CAN be good. They have good athletes who play with class. They just have to play fundamental football, something they have gotten away from the last few weeks. Right now, its easy to point fingers and want to quit. No it hasn't be fun. But, when they turn things around, its going to be a fun ride.

Good game to both teams! Very clean, hard fought football game. Hughes Springs definatly used its different weapons tonight. Looking forward to "hopefully" meeting in the playoffs! Pick yourselves up Brahmas and move on! Its not the end of the world. There is still lots of season left, and lots of time to turn things around. Good Luck Mustangs the rest of the season! True...when it REALLY counts!

Looking forward to the game tonight. I know both teams are ready to prove themselves on the field and settle this once and for all. Bragging rights for a year!!!!

I'm not going to be one of those that sits here and say HS has no chance because they haven't played anyone! I believe you can throw out the records on this one. But, I will say this...I saw Hooks on film and they are not that good. Hooks has traditionally been a very competitive team, but they have fallen off quite a bit this year. I would have been surprise if HS hadn't have beaten them so bad. And, Dekalb, apparently is a much improved team from the past couple of years. In my opinion, Clarksville, Hooks, and Dekalb haven't had the successes as LE, Arp and Jefferson, but come Friday night, it won't matter because it will be the Brahmas and the Mustangs that will be taking the field, and that is enough too get anyone excited!!

I believe the passing game has added a whole new, effective, deminsion for both teams! The HS QB, in my opinion, is a better passer. Pewitt didn't utilize the passing game much at all against Jefferson. I don't think we will see much of the passing game from either team unless they are unable to run the ball effectively.

They don't need a wakeup call for this week but Jefferson let them know what will happen when they are not focused and make to many mistakes. Jefferson just snapped them back into line and I expect to see good football like we did against LE!

Jefferson gave Pewitt exactly what they needed...a wake up call! And, as a result, Pewitt comes out fired up and ready to play this week!

HS has A stronger running back!! That's the thing, Giddens is a work horse, but outside of him?? Pewitt is loaded with backs that can all step in and play at any time.

Hey foosball, we know we are not untouchable. Anyone can win on any given night. GOBigBlue was just stating facts. Is it ok if we just brag a little bit about our Brahmas! I mean, we do have something to be proud of!

This will be a great game! I think that Arp's O-line will be much better than what we saw last week but the backs won't be. It will be a great test to see how the Brahmas hang with a spread team. After last week's game, there is no doubt in my mind that Pewitt can play with anyone. Just don't let the Tigers get back in the game like last year. Start out strong and keep pouring it on! All 11 silver hats to the ball!!
