Congrats to Argyle. Lindale ran into a buzz saw today. Was proud that Lindale got it together and was a game adversary in the second half. Also proud that the Lindale faithful easily outnumbered the Argyle folks, even though Argyle is much closer. Fortunate that neither of them had to line up with that machine that Carthage is... they were hands down the best HS team to step on that field today. Cheers

Because there is no single greater source of motivation in the entire world than folks lining up to tell other people what they can’t do. In this particular case, I feel like it was written.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here. I think my Winona boys got their shhh together for this one. Winona for the win.... You heard it here first. Just a different vibe in the dub today. We are taking this one.

But I stand by what I said- Harmony by as much as they want. It's going to be a bloodbath. And yes I picked against my boys. I've lost all faith in them football wise. Including the one that lives at my house.

Injuries- yes. But everyone goes thru that. Guys being put in the wrong positions. Lack of discipline. Lack of unity when things don't go as planned- they come apart when they're against the ropes. Blaming each other, finger pointing... the whole 9 yards. Too many that just dont care, and the ones that do care cant push the others hard enough to make them perform. I don't know if they're scared or lazy or both. Then there's just good old fashioned p1$$ poor performance. And my son is as guilty as any in that regard. That about sums it up. I know alot of them won't want to hear it... And it's hard for me to say. But if you don't like hearing it, stop allowing it to be the truth.

We are going to get beat like a rented mule. Winona don't have nothing like anyone thought they had. Went away from the formula that worked last year... Changed qbs for no reason... Too many penalties... No pride or killer instinct on defense. We are gonna get DROVE by Harmony. Absolutely slaughtered. Same against Edgewood. You heard it here first.

If Winona has their shhh together on defense, we will win. If we don't, we will lose. Pretty simple really. My Winona boys have not played up to their potential at all this year. Yet

TK. Grace is bigger and better than Gorman, but don't fool yourself into thinking there's some big talent/quality gap between the 2... There's not. Couldn't beat Grace, can't beat Gorman. Period.

Uhhh... I said that because he did. But he's still the backup for a reason. #21 with young Quinn in relief would have put the game away earlier. Still, a win is a win. I'll take it.

I know the middle of our defense needs work. But your RB got shut down when it mattered. I know our star RB was out. But I told y'all we were gonna win. These boys were hungry. The End. Good game. Maybe next year.

Our starting running back (#21) didn't play AGAIN. We've been the walking wounded ever since the season started. So no sympathy for a player out from me.
