  1. Congrats to Jville for locking up 2nd place in district with a week left to play! :notworthy:
  2. Whats a backup keeper have to do with anything? They just ride them pine... And why so many guys out? Too many cards?
  3. Did Teague loose to C-ville Friday? Big Games Buffalo-Mart Mart-Marlin Mart-Teague Marlin-Teague
  4. Marlin has never been in first...they lost to Teauge, Buffalo, and Mart. The standing are: 1st: Centerville (1 loss-Marlin) t-2nd: Buffalo (2 losses C-ville, Teague) t-2nd: Teague (2 losses Buffalo, C-ville) t-4th: Marlin (3 losses Buffalo, Mart, Teague) t-4th: Mart (3 losses C-ville, Buffalo, Teague) 6th: Riesel (6 losses) 7th: Leon (7 losses) 8th: Elkhart (8 losses) 2nd round started tuesday
  5. That he hired legal counsel hints that here may be more to the situation.
  6. They also failed to win district in track last year, first time in a long time. I don't think Basketball or Baseball has had a strong playoff run in a while either. But it is still a surprise to me and I wish Coach Tunstall luck in the future. Any thoughts on a replacement?
  7. I too would have loved to see this game with out the rain in 80 degree weather...........that way I wouldn't have froze my butt off sittin' in the rain. It would have also showcased the tallent of both sides better. I was very impressed with the CS QB and heard that they had a good receiver and RB too...but speed and athleticism wasn't shown on both sides because of the weather....It may have been even uglier in good weather maybe not. But one thing is for sure--I would not have froze. :happy65:
  8. If it does rain Saturday, I will have to give an edge to WW. CS is more of a passing team, and while WW does pass a lot, they also have 2 1,600 yard rushers in the back field CS's back has around 700-800 yards on the season. With lots of wind and rain it makes it hard to play pitch and catch.
  9. Sure is......he claims a 4.4 in high school...you know how true that is?
  10. Sorry for all the confusion then....maybe I should have said "East Texas coach races Gray Area between East Texas and Central Texas Coach instead of having a coin toss" I just thought it was kinda wordy. Some Leon high school students live east of I45 and Leon is about 4 miles away from I 45 so I really didn't think it was all that of a big deal. Oh well. And Capitan Geography......You first said that Buffalo wasn't in East Texas and then said that East Texas extends to I45, which Buffalo is East of I45, so is it in East Texas or not. Or does East Texas stop at the trinity river. Or more importantly, Does anyone care? :happy65:
  11. It was a thursday JV game....the Buffalo coach lost, but they did end up beating Leon 26-0 so I guess the kids didn't learn from his example. :happy65:
  12. Apparently Coaches from Leon and Buffalo raced 80 yards instead of flipping a coin. Interesting way to start a game.
  13. No....the best thing would have been if both him and Mallett had of stayed in Texas and played instead of going to lame Michigan who will get beat by the spread no matter what these two do. :happy65:
  14. Tie breakers are done by point differences. I think it just goes off the points of the games between the tied teams, but I am not sure. If mexia wins the more points the better for WW.
