  1. I have heard that Hughes Springs has a senior girl that ran in State last year? I think they had a good group of freshmen girls as well!!!
  2. What about Tommy Stewart? Is he just a principal in hughes springs? How many exdaingerfield tigers are coaches now? Of those who would be interested and SUPPORTED?
  3. I thought he had only been in hughes sptings for 3 yrs. Then left to be a principal. Wow that's a lot of wins in thrree yrears.
  4. I thought coach johnston from daingerfield was the head baseball coach at hughes springs!
  5. Thanks for the info keep up the good work.
  6. I heard where the Royse City job was open. Can anyone confirm this for me?
  7. I heard that the TE coach from Hughes Springs had applied for the job and was the front runner. Does any one know if there is any truth to this?
  8. Oretega, Ortega, Ortega. The soccer practice did not pay off against HS and you will need more than a field goal kicker to beat a very fast LK team. Pewitt does play with class and pride. #1 is a heck of an athlete, not to mention his ability to play through pain. However, with his injury I am not sure they will be near 90%. Also, #2 did not play much. However, I hear that he is running this week. If these two are ready, combined with the running of #22, this could be a classic match. Pewitt is very disciplined and has a good O-line. I am rooting for yall but picking LK. LK 27 PP 13 (miss the last PAT)
  9. Congrats to the ND Eagles. However, I would not be quick to brag on your new found glory. Jefferson is one of the top teams to beat in your district. But on the other hand, Jefferson can't brag about hanging 66 on Ore City. They did the same thing last year. Half of the JV teams in this area could handle the OC varsity. Jefferson will win but I think, if ND is actually running the ball, they will win by three touchdowns or less. Jefferson 31 Diana 14
  10. Well, if we add in Mr. Hunter to the team of two, which is now a team of three then I suppose the tigers should manage to impress their football savy fans with a blowout over a team that might not win a game in district play. I hope no one gets injured because I don't want the vivacious fans of Daingerfield to use it as an excuse when they either don't make the playoffs or limp into the playoffs. Back to the topic, Daingerfield 36 Redwater 0 I give the zero because the Def. at Daingerfield is supposed to be lit by an eternal fire which has been started by Bowman.
