lol...this one deserves a high-five :happy65: very nice comeback tex...how the truth does hurt... im picking ss in this one too...because i have seen an incredible defensive improvement in the last couple of games...

i agree with everyone else..its not bad, just make sure its not a team u absolutely hate..because u will be sharing sides...and parking isnt that great....but, they just put down turf last year i think...and it is very nice..as well as the campus...a&m-c is growing bigtime...

lol yeah...there are alot of ss smack talkers on here...but its all in fun to them...i learned to hold off on the smack from all the crow i ate last season...ill just sit back and have fun reading the smack..haha anyways...i hope we dont underestimate the panthers...we thought we'd run all over paris this year too...and look how that game tuned out...they gave us a run for our money....but i do think nl is too beat up with injuries to hang with the ss offense the whole game...ill say.... ss-42 nl-21 however, if the defense plays lights out again like they did last friday....then you can take some of those nl points off

ehh..not bad...i figured id hear his name alot more though..ss had alot more of a balanced offense tonight..number 5 has some nice looking runs..and rollison did some tuckin and runnin and breaking tackles...

i was sitting in the ss student section down at that endzone almost right across from that play...and i can honestly tell u that he was clearly not in...he was about a yard or two short...and again i say...CLEARLY!

im in pure amazement in how this team has turned around since last year...coach owens has done a great job, and these kids have worked their butts off....this championship is well deserved!! Owens should be nominated for coach of the year!! :notworthy:

im gonna hafta take a lil bit of crow..i called for a t high victory....i was really suprised with how well ss played this game...t high never had a lead...rollison make some of those t high defenders look like pansies....but t highs defense had their share of hard hits...im givin the game ball half to the ss defense for their final stand, and the other half to the ss kicker oscar marroquin for that beastly hit...i was not expecting a hit like that from a soccer player...very exciting game..if u missed it, then u should hate yourself..it was a great game...the fans were really into it...my throat is incredibly sore and im completely drained! good luck to t high in the playoffs..u will rep 11-4a well!!

I have been a ss fan all of my life and at one time a player...im a huuuuge fan of ss, and will be until the day that i die... and i believe that ss has the biggest chance of upsetting the tigers in district this season.....buuuuuuutttt...until somebody actually beats t high, i've gotta go with t high....but u better believe i'll be at this game on the ss side making some kind of serious noise! I'm really wanting SS to win this one...but my gut is tellin me t high will prevail in a close one....but it could very well go either way...i think ss has been preparing for this one since before district even started...home field should help em out along with being well prepared...i dunno...maybe t high by 7 or 10

ok..so we have 3 games left in district..mp and paris are at the bottom, nl and lindale both share a game a piece and ss and t high are fightin for the top spot both being undefeated...what are your playoff predictions as of right now with paris playin ss, lindale playing t high, and mp and nl facing off this friday?

Who wins this one? Paris is 3-4(0-2) and Sulphur Springs is 6-1(2-0)....last week Paris lost in a close one to cross town rival North Lamar, and Sulphur Springs continued to show its offensive dominance with a win over Lindale...so who takes this one? I'm taking Sulphur Springs 42-14....Paris just isnt the team everyone thought they were gonna be..and SS having homefield advantage sure helps too...so I see SS rollin in this one and playin at home again next week for the district championship against T-High!!

and what has paris done this year to make them a good team? just wondering...if i am correct, they have only won 2 or 3 games this year...and they really havent played the toughest of schedules IMO

Who wins this one...in the previous week, SS pulled out a nailbiter at home against MP and moved to 5-1..and Lindale had a very impressive first district game over Paris...so what are your thoughts?

I dunno..ss just didnt look ready for this game IMO...i think they were lucky to win it...but oh well...a win is a win..ill take an ugly one over a loss any day..plus we now have 5 straight years of bragging rights against mp...lets just hope that we go down to lindale next friday on top of our game...good luck to mp next week...ill be expectin them to give t high one heck of a game!! maybe even an upset! :thumbsup:
