Well I've seen Daingerfield and with the attitude of certain somones on the team I see Daingerfield playing with only 10 or sometimes even 9 on the field if you want to put it that way!!!!! There is so much of an attitude difference between HS and Daingerfield... HS wants to be there and play... Daingerfield wants to be there when a certain someone gets to get the ball or they can actually get a snap right... To many times have I seen Daingerfields ATTITUDES affect their play and it gets terrible sometimes. So would you want a track team of great kids or a football team where its me me me me or a bad attitude problem??? Discipline is terrible in Daingerfield now, it has changed so much since I was there... Well disciplined or no discipline you take your pick..

I'm sure that HS has some speed, but they have been a superior team against 2 very inferior teams and beat a good Winnsboro team. They will definitely be alot more scrappier under Ed, but it's really hard to imagine that they got that much faster from last season, and they didn't look so fast last season. Whatever speed HS may posess, they won't hold a candle to the Tatum and Gilmer speed we have already played. I still say that the district title will come down to the Dfield and HS game. I say this because of one reason, Bowman. This dude has a lit a fire under the defense and defense wins you games. If we can make the grade, and that's a big if, this team could leave alot of teams in their dust. On the other hand, one bad game could send the season in a tailspin, you just kind of hold your breath in daingerfield these days. JAKEBRAKE Are you trying to tell me that 10 months is not enough time to get faster????? I mean im not saying they are as fast as Gilmer or Tatum, but Id put money on it Teel can hang with them and the other three arent far behind!! Me being from Daingerfield I hope our football team doesnt think like you because I've seen there backs and if we think like you our football team will by trying to catch them all night... Don't underestimate the heart in a kid and 10 months of offseason!!!

Coach Edwards at Hughes Springs!!!! Hes got the Mustangs up and running!! He knows when games get tight dont fold up the play book and put your tail between your legs unlike somepeople.... Hes made a big impact already with a big win over New Diana at their place for the first time in like 10 years and being down 14-26 on a good winnsboro team in the 3rd and pulling it together and coming back and winning 27-26...

I don't have a crystal ball, but I'm going by stats and talent. HS. by as much as they want it to be. With the coaching staff they have, they wont let it get to ugly.

Theres no way this game will be close!!! Yes they did get a big win! Congratulations!! Reasons why it wont be close: 1. Hughes Springs first home game; Their fans are amazing, and they will be ready to play in their own stadium. 2. Coaching staff will definately have them ready to go. 3. Dekalb just doesnt have the talent to hang with hughes springs.

I am from daingerfield and I just wanted to ask, Did Coach Nation make that much of a difference when he was there? I mean I saw the team last year and compared to this year it just looked to me like there wasn't any "fire" in them. He coached me when I was in high School at Daingerfield and he was always a great coach pushed you hard and had you ready to go! I didnt see that in Hughes Springs like the team last year? Just a question not to make anyone mad or upset. Did Coach Nation become a principle somewhere by the way?
