  1. Oh to be young again.... Sounds like the coaches are not the problem. As stated, there have been many coaches that have done their best to bring integrity and discipline to Winona. The problem is the community and school board members (or spouses of) don't want it. Making this a no-win situation for any inspiring coach, proven with the case of Coach Gann and others. TEA needs to get involved...obviously the people of Winona are incompetent.
  2. 1. Florida 2. Texas 3. Oklahoma 4. USC 5. Ohio State 6. Ole Miss 7. Alabama 8. Utah 9. TCU 10. Oregon
  3. yeah...theres going to be a lot of them Caddo Mills vs Grand Saline moved to Thursday
  4. That would be a great victory for all coaches...but how realistic is it ??? How often do we see individuals (idiot, non-educated, unprofessionals) with there own agenda trying to destroy teachers and coaches in front of the school board and the community and do it without reprimand. Winona should be embarrassed!!!!!!
  5. I would go with a Dallas, Austin, San Antonio rotation. Why should Austin get all of the revenue. What would Obama do???hahaha
  6. Wow...is an understatement. Sounds like the people of Winona should take school board elections a little more seriously. Then go out and get a Superintendent with a moral back-bone!!!!!! I feel for the coach and know there is a good school out there waiting for him. A little sad for the kids...the lack of lesson taught. As for the community...sounds like they are deserving!!!!!
  7. The coach was re-assigned a few weeks ago....No one seems to know why or at least no one is saying. We played them early and obviously they are a struggling team but seemed to be on the right track....then BAM! Coaching change...kids out of control vs Sabine ????
  8. Can anyone explain the reasons...the logic...the facts regarding the coaching changes and direction of Wildcat basketball these days???? I have no ties to Winona...just curious
  9. I had heard that the coach was re-assigned but nothing about why...can anyone fill us in???? I thought that given the kids he had to work with....they played hard and were respectful. You have to agree they are not the most talented bunch to come through Winona. So...what happened???
  10. What needs to be understood is that immortal and jar-head are what we refer to is the angry-UT fans which is even worse than your ordinary annoying and obnoxious UT fans....their inferiority to OU fans puts them in a state of rage only comparable to that of a pit bull that tends to lash out and snip at small children and old ladies. lol!!!! There is no sense in trying to reason with them....just read their post and think God your a SOONER!!!!!!
  11. 1978 HEISMAN 2-time ALL-AMERICAN Walter Camp Trophy Helms & Citizens Savings Athletics Foundation Poy National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame 2-time ALL CONFERENCE 2nd Most Rushing Yards in a Season-1,896 (Behind Adrian Peterson) Most Career Rushing Yards-4,118 Most Rushing TD's in a Season-23 2nd Most Career Rushing TD's-53 (Behind Steve Owens) Most 200 Yard games in a Season and Career 1st pick of the 1st round in the NFL DRAFT to the Detroit Lions ok...I'm tired
  12. now that is funny...a horn telling someone else to quit whining  What i'm excited about is OU beating Florida without Murry...What will everyone say then???? Absolutely nothing!!!!! Silence the masses and watch in awe of the Oklahoma Sooner...National Champions! :notworthy:
  13. Yes it was loud, yes it was exessive, could it have taken away form Bradfords moment...maybe for a second. If you know anything about Simms then it should have been expected. After all he was yelling "Boomer" when Jason White won it. What did White do...yelled "Sooner" right back at him. Simms is a nut but means well. He has done much for the University of Oklahoma and continues to be apart of the football scene. He enjoys the attention and people like listening to him and getting autographs. I think he is deserving of that even if he can be loud and annoying at time...its his nature.
  14. I hope that Winona can re-group and whip all of you
  15. Clean sweep...at worst 6-1 I think everyone would have to agree that OU has the toughest challenge ahead of them, but at the same time I feel they will be confident and prepared this time. They can not take another BCS tumble...giving them more to lose than any other team playing in the post-season. Talk about motivation!!! Texas will be Texas...playing extremely well in their match-up with Ohio St. They are also going to try to make a statement in this one...just look for some style points in the 4th. I am hoping that Tech makes Ole Miss look silly...I would love to see that "tough defense" scrambling for answers while Harrell cuts them to shreds!!! After all they did beat Flrorida, haha. Pokes may struggle with the Ducks for a while...this one could be the craziest of all of them. I don't want to imagine what ridiculous outfits Oregon will have on...i hope they lose for lack of style and points. How about them Cowboys!!! Nebraska and Clemson will be very physical so I am looking at this as a Heavyweight BigXII vs. ACC showdown...Huskers win in a TKO! Have to agree with Missouri and Kansas getting the best match-ups and should dominate their opponents...I would still get a kick out of Missouri losing. I just have a hard time rooting for them...something about Chase Daniels???
  16. I have actually seen one crossing hwy 80 between fruitvale and grand saline...it was about 2:30 in the morning. Big and Black and i know what i saw!!
  17. bobcat with a bad case of monkey butt
  18. The early line on Big 12 football teams is simple and encouraging: They should sweep all seven of their bowl games in the next month. Take a look at how the nation's best conference should do: 1. The most difficult contest will be the Oklahoma Sooners against the Florida Gators for the BCS National Championship. Both are 12-1. OU has looked unstoppable lately, and if the Sooners offense overwhelm Florida's defense, Oklahoma wins. 2. Texas (11-1) will have no trouble with Ohio State (10-2), out of the lackluster Big 10 Conference, in the Fiesta Bowl. 3. Texas Tech (11-1) will be favored for good reasons over Mississippi (8-4) in the Cotton Bowl. 4. Nebraska (8-4), surging the last few games, will be a favorite in the Gator Bowl over a Clemson (7-5) squad out of the pitiful ACC Conference. 5. Kansas and Minnesota are both 7-5. But KU played in the far tougher conference, so should be ready for the Gophers (out of the Big 10 Conference) in the Insight Bowl. 6. Oklahoma State (9-3) shouldn't have any trouble with Oregon (9-3) in the Holiday Bowl. Oklahoma State lost to three of the top 8 teams in the nation (Texas, OU and Texas Tech). Oregon played in the so-so PAC-10 Conference, which had one really good team this year in USC. 7. Finally, Missouri (9-4) should defeat Northwestern (9-3) in the Alamo Bowl. The Tigers lost their games in the super-tough Big 12 while Northwestern played in the weak Big 10.
  19. Hey, why don't you tell your mom, sister, or daughter(whichever) to put the horns down and get her butt back on the main stage!!! haha she's hot!!!
  20. saw him early this year....and i can say that he is easily the best back that I have seen 1A or 2A or 3A. at least seen in person...again IMO!!
  21. That would be awesome. If they could get some recruiting done...this combo could be great for the Big XII North. It would convince me to watch an Iowa State game.
  22. them fight'in words clutch!!!!!!! lol i got a new avatar for ya!
