Troup will be in the mix bigtime. Plus I hear there will be one heck of a pinch runner that has alrady signed with SMU and will not be thrown out by any catcher in the league.

Who pitched for EF?

Troup over Elkhart in game 2, 7-5. We play Hemphill next, but not sure where yet though.

Arp played a nice game. Cooper pitched a whale of a game and had a nice game at the plate as well. That early season loss has to hurt at this point. Troup and Garrison are tied and I suspect a playoff is in the cards. I'm sure we will know more this afternoon.

What will happen if there is a tie. Last year there was a one game playoff for first and second. Does the same apply for second and third? That is assuming both win or both lose Tuesday, and you what happens when you assume!!

Does anyone know how many of the baseball players from Arp were on the basketball team?

These last two games will be interesting for Troup and Arp. Troup lost both games(Garrison and Arp) in the bottom of the 7th in the previous contests. Arp has got to be hating the loss to Timpson early on or it would be even more tight right now.

From what I have seen, EF looks to be the top dog, but it looks like everyone else can be beaten or win on any given day. EF may get snuck up on and beaten in district, but I kinda doubt it. They are pretty salty. The second half of district ought to be very interesting.

Troup is out next week. I thought the EF coach said they were playing Arp Saturday, not exactly sure if this one or next though.
