i'm not knocking on poteet but i dont think that they are worthy of the 4 spot in state. good team overall, but i still think anyone can beat em'.

NL loses to Greenville 6-3. So far, NL has not been able to string two wins together since beating Broken Bow and Idabel back to back. Lots of issues other than on-field play costing NL games. its hard to string together two wins, if the pitcher your facing dominates you with 14 k's. congrates to the pithcer from greenville....great game.

i used to play with matt when we were younger and i just have a few questions. how hard is he throwing now cuz i know he has a GREAT arm and do they still call him, Matt"smash you" Johnson?

bigdawg, chanting is not what makes high school baseall fun. what makes it fun is all the rival going at it and the team talking the most #### coming up empty handed. the underdog coming up with a win. chanting is part of the game as long as there not like softball and keep going on and on and on. and from a pitchers point of view, its a pain when teams chant as soon as you start your motion, not so much before hand.....well for me anyway.

as far as the "recruiting" goes, it just seems that kids just want to be a big man on campus otherwise they can make a name for themselves in the public system. not to mention its a little easier to be seen in the public system and get scholorships if thats their goal.

i agree with the whole sky comment.......i always lose the ball off the bat, so thats why i ask my infielders to yell at me. the fighting situation would have ever started if MP isnt a bunch of babies and whine about geting hit on a CURVEBALL!! get a life...

Greenville Christian went to sate an lost. but come on, its six man.......their all-state linebacker hasn't played football since his7th grade year. so that aught to ya something about six man but if it doesn't i will............its like playing flag football in your front yard with pads. the all state punt returner wouldnt sniff the field at any public school. thats why he transfered in.

I've seen greenvilles when it was in its worst shape about 8 yrs ago. 2 yrs ago the infield was nice while the outfield needed some green. havent seen it this year yet, but i heard its improving.

as an arkansas fan i dont see the need for a second QB whos brother lost multile games alone. one's enough!!!

i caught a 7 1/2 largemouth bass on a private pond behind my house this past summer after him breaking off three ft. from the bank the first time around.

from what ive seen, hes just geting the younger ones feet wet....senior starter and sophmore backup. young players need to get some experience too if they are all you got coming up. i don"t blame him, i would make the same call.
