  1. I think it's safe to say that A) strikeout33 is a player or recently graduated ex player and B) the boys from both schools can carry their own weight on the field and do lets leave it up to them. No reason to start smack talk after the fact. (that's for dogg and strikeout)
  2. CH has always been a solid team, hoping for a great injury free series both ways! Go Dogs.
  3. Allday just wants EW to lose just so he can say "you weren't better than us, you lost to the same team!". So much for supporting the schools around your area. But anyways, I'm looking forward to this series and even though I'm going to be rooting for EW, I'm intrigued to see the pitching from WO! Hopefully it's a great series and goodluck to both teams.
  4. Without Galaz that would make it even harder on Mineola, heck of a player. Hope he does well in both sports!
  5. Ok, it's a great thing to watch kids progress! Both of our recent deep playoff runs, '09 and last year were coming off of years that the underclassmen had to grow up and play a big role. Watching kids grow up is one of the best parts of high school sports!
  6. He doesn't speak for all Edgewood fans, wouldn't want you guys to think we are disrespecting you or taking you lightly. EF has a solid ball team and from what I hear a complete turn around from last year, what's been the difference this year?
  7. EF fans, is the big kid your ace? Or SS?
  8. HS in 3. I will hope for the upset but just don't think Mineola has enough.
  9. 2 out of 3 with the games being played at Drillers Park in Kilgore. Should be a good series, Edgewood is playing better than their record and EF is solid.
  10. Thanks, is he still out or is he playing now? Edgewood should be throwing the big 1st baseman today. Best of luck to Hooks.
  11. I would say being patient and drawing walks is doing something to win. Hooks had counts where they could've worked the count more but swung on 2-0 counts or 3-1 counts that weren't ideal. Knowledge at the plate is as important as throwing strikes in my opinion. Walks are earned runs by the way.
  12. Hooks ace last 1 inning while walking atleast 5 and gave up a couple hits.
  13. Was that Hooks ace last night? I thought maybe 5 would be theirs?
  14. Edgewood started slow but started to come together as a team towards the end of the season, has the ability to play a good game (I know, who doesn't?) but consistency in the field is the main issue. They can stroke the ball and have solid pitching, but like i said its in the field where the issues are. When they are bad in the field they are BAD. That being said, I'm looking forward to the series!
