I know I speak for most Mineola Fans we are so very proud of each of you guys and the coaches. I'm sure this person Adictatorofacoach was a member of a team you guys slamed this year some where down the line.

I agree even though Martin did have the game winning RBI no one has really mentioned the young man that hit the 2 RBI's that tied the game so that Martin had the chance to hit the winning run. Believe me all these guys can hit. This is a team full of friends that several have played together since they were 10yrs old. Win or lose this week or next it will be a season that these boys their coaches and the people of Mineola will remember for a long time.

I enjoyed the game, good play on both sides. With the exception of two innings it was all pictching. Great game all around. Keep your heads up Mineola your still in first place.

Yep Mineola 10 Spring Hill 0 in 5 with yes 5 home runs 1 each by the by the 7,8 and 9 batters. Martin hit 2 with both goth at least 380 feet plus.

I agree it is hard for a small town kid to make it to the next level specially from 3A down. But in my opinion they are leaving a lot of good baseball players behind. Trying out and being a walk on is a good idea if you can get info on those happenings.

Just curious what does it take for a young man to get some notice by a college scout? I've seen some great baseball this year from a lot of kids in this area and not just from Mineola. There's several that I think could play at the next level and not one letter has come there way. Any feedback?

Mineola 4 GIlmer 3 Wow. Haven't seen a game that exciting in a long time. Both teams played a heck of a game. Sure wasn't the best umpiring I've ever seen. Boy was he inconsistant. Bats weren't long enough to reach that far outside the plate.

I beg to differ with you...... Adams does and can throw in the 90's. I've been behind a college scout that clocked him three times at 90 to 92 and a pretty good breaking ball at 78mph. If Adams is on his game all I see is those BUCKS swatting nothing but air.
