  1. just keep playing and hope for the best gcpride...quit pitching koronka and wood, that should change things. getting milly back and padilla to pitch better should be good. so far we have only had one decent pitcher this year and thats Tejeda. the pen just hasnt had any chances to put away any games, so you can't blame them. its all on the offense not producing and the starters giving up a zillion runs.
  2. i have not been to one game yet this year...and at this point i wouldnt pay to go to a game, but we got a free voucher for 2 free tickets in the lower reserve from a choice of 3 games. i think that might be the only game i go to this year, yet im not paying Hicks one dime to go!!
  3. you have a point there, and i could always stay at my sisters place in arlington or at my uncles in plano/frisco...or even my grand parents in canton lol. one of these days i might do it, perhaps even this fall when i get to Big D for school. i just miss watching good "winning" baseball!!
  4. I would go to a Rough Riders game if it was closer to home! Tyler just isnt close enough, and we just can't get any minor league ball here that stays.. ugh!
  5. I am wondering what everyone else has to say about this but as far as I am concerned it is time all Rangers fans boycott going to the ball park and giving any money to one horrible owner. This team stinks. I am not happy with this season, nor the man in charge Mr. Jon Daniels. I wish i could fast forward some time to a) get a winner in arlington and b) finish my degree so I can take the club over and turn it into a winner. Voice your opinion everyone!!
  6. I do remember that study being done, and of course nothing is going to change the fact that the ballpark is a hitters park...forever! lol basically we need sinker ball pitchers aka mr. kameron loe & perhaps some other guys who can actually pitch!
  7. haha! that cracked me up! I agree with a few of your statements, but again I disagree as well. Hicks is definately in it for the money, at this point. I would appreciate it if he would sell the team to someone who wants to bring a winner to DFW, or even Texas for that matter. As much as I like Tex, he does need to be traded this year or next. But, I beg of JD please get 3 young arms in return! Blalock won't be traded any time soon. We have tried trading him many times and each time the deal has been nixed by one thing or another. This year is gone for him because of his recent nerve/rib problem. I highly doubt he would be traded anyways, he's been having a monster season and I hate that this injury has occured because I knew he was headed into an awesome season. As for Wash, I agree definately. The man is a positive guy and loves to coach. I want him here! JD has been a failure. I hope things work out for him, but when I eventually get my sports management degree here in a few years maybe I can take his job away and do it right! haha Milly was a good signing, yet he is injury prone. I hated trading Mench away, I lost all confidence in Coco but now he is tearing it up in Milwaukee. Delucci was a straight up deal for a old washed up outfielder for a stud pitcher named Robinson Tejada. I absolutely LOVE this trade at this point, Robinson is an awesome guy and he will be an excellent pitcher on our staff. Jose Cuervo Club really has no big influence on the ball park. It has always been a hitters park with the jet stream so one little restaurant for the fans really isnt going to make a big difference, but its up for debate.
  8. Anyone else out there frustrated with how the season is going so far!?!? I am sick and tired of watching this team lose. I have been a loyal Rangers fan my whole life, and I am growing weary and tired of watching them lose year in and year out. What will it take??? Give me your input and lets talk about this organization. Pitching has always been the name of the game...we just dont have it. One I blame Tom Hicks for letting Doug Melvin go, our farm system has fallen down the tube ever since he left. Then I blame him again for bringing in John Hart and all the lousy salaries he brought in. Then I blame Hicks again for letting Grady Fuson walk away...geez. Now he hires a young kid, who has made two horrible trades. I am still holding out on some hope that McCarthy will work out. but still, im ready to see them win. 18-31 is just not going to cut it for me. I have not been to a game yet this season, and probably wont at all. I'm not going to spend good money on a losing team. Now its your turn, let the world know your frustrations!
  9. score was Klen 3 - Lee 2, game and season is over for the Red Raiders
  10. Tolarfan...nice! I return back home this week from school. I can't wait to make it to a game!!! I would take 2 out of 3 in NY, but anyone would take a sweep!! I could def see a different team playing this weekend than what I have seen so far this year, there have been little glimpses of hope for the offense, the pitching has been solid which is odd for the Rangers considering our history...but as long as the guys get the bats rolling, we could do some damage.
  11. I sure hope so Tolarfan...we need them to turn this train around and start hitting the ball like they are capable of. Can't wait to see them sweep the yankees in NY!
