  1. Our district according to Calpreps: 1 - Chapel Hill 2 - Kilgore 24 - Lindale 31 - Palestine 38 - Athens 53 - Henderson 58 - Jacksonville
  2. As a football fan, I was frustrated when Wyatt Parker remained in the game and was hurt while down by 30 points with the game decided.
  3. 2022 Kilgore total score vs. Palestine and Jacksonville - 88-7 Chapel Hill total score vs. Palestine and Jacksonville - 104-42 2023 Kilgore total score vs. Palestine and Jacksonville - 86-14 Chapel Hill total score vs. Palestine and Jacksonville - 82-53
  4. I'm not sure how holding a team to 15 points below their average coming into the game is exposing them. Lindale is fully capable of putting points on the board.
  5. I still think Henderson is a huge long shot to make the playoffs, but they could figuratively knock Athens out.
  6. That rushing attack will make for matchup problems in the playoffs.
  7. District 9-4A rankings according to Calpreps: 1 - Chapel Hill 3 - Kilgore (somehow dropped and Celina moved up to #2) 20 - Lindale 34 - Palestine (this should go up with CH and Kilgore behind them) 37 - Athens 52 - Henderson 58 - Jacksonville
  8. Palestine's value climbs with a relatively close game with Chapel Hill. Athens value plummets after getting hammered by Lindale. A well-rested Henderson may jeopardize Athens post-season next week. Who'da thunk that Chapel Hill/Palestine would have been the close game this week? Palestine/Athens November 3 may be for the 4th playoff spot. Lindale @ Palestine October 20 could be a really good game. 1 and 2 Kilgore/Chapel Hill 3 Lindale 4 Palestine 5 Athens 6 Henderson 7 Jacksonville
  9. Out of Palestine, Athens, and Henderson, I would say the Lions are going to be the spoilers.
  10. Henderson may not make the playoffs, but they may have a say in the playoff picture by upsetting a team that does make the postseason.
  11. 4A-D1 rankings this week according to Calpreps: 1 - Chapel Hill - up 1 2 - Kilgore - up 1 26 - Athens - up 3 32 - Lindale - up 7 39 - Palestine - down 6 52 - Henderson - down 6 61 - Jacksonville - down 2
  12. I understand, new coaches at Henderson creating a better culture and their time is coming, but I thought that game was going to be much closer than that.
  13. When the thread is “District of Doom” but the closest margin of victory is 20 points. Also really surprised by the Lindale beat down.
