Pretty evenly matched...Grapeland made a couple of big plays and were a little faster. That was the difference...

Elkhart was up 14-0 at the half...Huntington changed their entire game plan for the 2nd half, but couldn't convert any extra points. A big fumble recovery with 1:40ish to go in the game sealed the game for Elkhart. Really good game...

Elkhart looked competent all night long against Malakoff... Last year was all about injuries. If the Elks stay healthy and continue to play solid team football, they'll do really good. I'm not saying 34-0 in every game good, but they should be competitive this year.
