  1. "on pace" my opinion is that a pitcher is deteremined "better" by whom would you rather have for one inning, which is era. i would rather have rivera over nolan ryan, clemens, ed walsh... those guys are "specilities" in starting, its their area of specility... i know you can't exactly compare the two, but this is me giving it my best shot... so basing my theory of how to determine best player, you would find who has the mlb all-time to-date best ERA. I know he hasnt pitched 12 year's, thats why I said ON PACE to be. I was shocked when I saw that stat for myself, and I just dont think it can be ignored. a 1.71 era over 179 innings is hellafied good. amazing really.
  2. Taking into consideration MLB all-time career best era, would you have to consider Jonathan Papelbon on pace to be one of the ( if not the ) greatest pitchers ever? Papelbon is #1 on mlb all-time career best era. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/alltime/leaders?type=1
  3. This is one of the dumbes threads ive ever seen.
  4. north carolina kansas texas DRAKE i think drake beats UCLA in the stunner of the season in the sweet 16, and then beats duke in a shootuot in the elite 8, then lose to texas in the final four my champ.. texas vs kansas texas wins.

  6. T.O has been right about everything in dallas so far... he has been far from a distraction, atleast a real distraction.. the media can make any one person seem like a team distraction... what has he done in the 2 year's he's been here... he spoke out about the tuna and how the team is better without him when parcells was on the verge of retirement.. was he not right?? he spoke out and said the team would be better with romo at quarterback after we all knew it was coming... was he not right?? he got hurt with a high ankle sprain, after players miss a month or two on this, he came back quicker... he lead the league in td catches, after playing half the season with a broke finger.. thumb.. something like that... sure he gets emotional on the sideline and yells at players every now and then... i would want my superstar to do that as well... i'l be dam*ned if my superstar isnt going to be passionaite for the game.. tell me, what is the harm in dressing up as lance armstrong during a SPRING TRAINING practice when you know your not practicing because your hurt... the media hates t.o... the fans who dont know anybetter hate t.o... i personally am a t.o fan... and like it or not... the team loves t.o as well... nobody in that locker room believes what the media says... such as... "jessica simpson is a distraction" NOBODY in that locker room believs that.. yet the media makes a deal out of it.. and the dallas area public is on the bandwagon.. grow up guys.. welcome to reality
  7. I hope this stops all the t.o bashing, atleast for awhile.. i've been a t.o fan all my life.. and the guys right.. and yet when the analyist still talk about the interview they somehow still find ways to bash him.. go figure -- t.o is one of the top 5 recievers to ever play the game, and he gets zero respect.
  8. nobody can hate on mcfadden for this.. he was defending his little brother.
  9. ahh ;( oh well... one can still hope right?
  10. i hope we are all right, i hope we beat the giants, then beat the seahawks, cuz i do think seattle upsets green bay this weekend... im just.... lets put it this way... im more concerned than i am confident.
  11. I personally, even though im a dallas fan, am pretty sure the giants win this game, and if i was a gambling man.. i'd be all over vegas line which has the giants as a 9point underdog... since the nfl merger, the top seeds from afc and nfc have never faced eachother since the nfl merger, a team had never beat the same team 3 times in a row. jessica simpson, whom is bad luck ;p, will be attending the game the pats, aren't going to lose.
