  1. This comming from some students, but "OC" in question (just may be N.L.Head Coach next season). Not one thing to back this up other than "Some students".
  2. I have lost a little weight in the past few years, figured i could gain a little back (eatun-some-crow) here on SDC. Well Do Do. I didnt think it would happen on my FIRST!!! post back. Ok rabfan, can i have a little salt and pepper?? Man... way to go Atlanta!! As someone posted earlier, "Thats why we play the games".
  3. Tigers put up as many as they want, Kilgore wins state!!!
  4. yes you are right, i remember that night also, we got a little wet. He enjoyed you guys and felt special that the "nation" took him in like he was one of your own. I also remember him telling me about Redwater. Thanks for being so kind to both of us and good luck Tigers!!!
  5. Smoaky, i should do my home work before i come on here and make a post. I should have read the anouncement section before my post and i would have posted in the right place. I know he is looking down on us and laughing his rear end off at me.So i will leave it at that and up to people who know what they are doing on SDC but something tells me he will never be forgotten!! I know all you posters have made Heather feel good!
  6. I sit here every sat morning wiping tears away thinking about "pops". This computer is where he made probable 90% of all his post. He was my brother-in-law but everyone knew you could leave the in-law off, we were brothers. He loved highschool football more than anyone i have ever known. His son played QB for NL 2 years and had a cannon for an arm and was as acurate as they come. Could have played maybe even d1 but for sure college ball somewhere but he couldnt even get on the radar for recruits managing the North Lamar power I run run run offense. He threw 77 passes his SR year with his best running back hurt the last 6 games. The reason i brought this up is i was as big a homer, (went by pantheruncle then)as there was on here, but when Cody graduated i enjoyed reading post as i do today but just didnt have enough interest to post much of anything. NOT POPS!!! He loved HS sports so much that he kept up with stats, games, scores, you name it he either knew it or looked it up and if he said something you could pretty much take that to the bank! There were a few posters who didnt like or didnt agree with some of his humor but i NEVER saw anyone get the best of the"pops". I always felt safe around "pops" he was a big man, stood 6'4" but the funny thing is, he never was envolved in a fight his entire life. He just looked like the type of guy you don't wont to mess with. That, and he was one of those types that you just loved to be around! A big ole teddy bear.I think there should be some type of""POPS" award on SDC, maybe something like "smartest poster of the year",i dont know maybe start a topic of comming up with the best name of the "POPS" award. I know he is looking down on us now and would be happy to know we all cared.I dont know what heaven is like other than no worries and happy all the time but if the good Lord has a football field Scot Sellers aka "POPS" is there and is as happy as can be!
  7. Just didnt see this coming. Thought the offense of my old "alma mato" would get them thru next week. Tell me if im wrong but dont they have most all players returning next year!!!
  8. I could not have been more wrong!!!!
  9. about the same # of people that couldn't give a ### if you post on here or not!
  10. I don't think it will make much difference this year that its the cross town showdown. Paris is that much better. And... NL lost there best RB due to discipline problems. They will probably try to throw long on there first play from scrimmage to catch Paris stacking the box if they have decent field position. Maybe even try a trick play or two during the game. Other than that the score will depend on how much time NL can run off the clock. Two many 3 and outs and this game gets ugly.
