Joaquin Rams (8-1, 5-0) at Harleton Wildcats (7-2, 4-1)
Mavgrad98 replied to trueblue82's topic in High School Sports
#65 & #3 are seniors that the rest of the team respect and feed off of. #65 is definitely the leader of that d-line. #3 is a senior that sparks both the offense and defense. Those two have as much heart as any I've ever seen and are fun to watch. -

Looking forward to a great game. The Wildcats are a scary team right now for anyone. They've well exceeded expectations this year and have a hunger to shock the district. These boys have been hungry since the new staff stepped on campus and will run through walls for Coach Little and his coaches. Those kinds of teams are very dangerous. -

WEEK 10: Marshall (5-3) (5-0) Vs. Whitehouse (6-2) (5-0)

That's not surprising. -
And Harleton is up 27-0 in Beckville tonight. Gotta love Texas High School Football!

43 yards. I knew yesterday when I saw the JV kicker, the varsity kid must be special...and he is! The 43yd'r had plenty left. By plenty I mean...yall would laugh if I said he had another 15 plus in him. One of the best I've ever seen in high school.

Score?

The Mavs got embarrassed. I think I spent more time shaking my head tonight than cheering. 2 people on the field have got to be able to lead the team; the HC and the QB. I didn't see leadership from either of them. Fans were all over the HC and actually got in his head. The Real Mavfan said it, too much hype and not enough action. How they respond from this butt whooping will let us know who the Mavs really are this season; an old beat up Pinto or a Corvette that just had a little water in the gas tank. *see yall in another 5 years or so...I'm out!

Hard to win a football game and lose the turnover battle. Mavs have to get control of themselves and play their game in the 2nd half.

Tommy Tuberville hits Asst. Coach

I'm not mild manner enough to react the same way the assistant did. Tuberville would've bled...profusely. -
THE OFFICIAL 2012 WORLD SERIES THREAD

Ive been telling people, Ive seen this SF train before in 2010. Detroit will not win a game in SF and every bounce will go SF's way. Id be very very surprised if the Tigers win 2 in Detroit. However, I hope they do win 2 so that the SF fans get to see their team win it all. -
THE OFFICIAL ATHLETICS @ RANGERS 4-GAME SERIES THREAD

Wasn't sure I was going to be able to shake loose long enough this year to make a game...ballpark bound in less than 2 hours!!! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!! -
My deal is this...you have to gain possession to have possession. Only one player can gain possession 1st. I just don't believe two players can gain possession simultaneously. One had to have gained possession before the other, meaning his team possesses the ball. Whatever happens after that is irrelevant.

Harris ruined the program. By many accounts, and things I saw go on while he was here, he let the kids, parents and boosters run things while he was nowhere to be found most of the time. He is responsible for where the program is today. At least Richters has began to rid the program of the horrible culture that Harris allowed to take roots in the program. For that, I commend him. However, on the football and winning end of things...he just might be in over his head.

He still lacks hustle down the baseline, but if I popped everything straight up, I'd probably be lazy down the line too. I too am a huge Kinsler fan, he just irks the cr@p out of me at times.

Is that the same ooRufusoo that wouldn't hear of any Coach Harris criticism a few seasons ago!?!?!?!?!? We finally agree on something.

THE OFFICIAL ANGELS @ RANGERS 4-GAME SERIES THREAD

At 11:36pm yesterday it was better to be a RANGERS fan! LOL -
Wow...when he's healthy, will we see him in the rotation or is it time to scrap that, and send him back to the pen?
-
I still think they should all line up and receive trophies for participation at the end of the game...even after a walk off. Regardless of where it originated, it's just a phrase everyone knows and understands...and it's singular to baseball. I've never heard a big leaguer complain about it. I like it.

Thanks for sharing...great read.

TAG on Williams throwing at Ian. "Well he missed him with the 1st pitch and was 2ft behind him on the 2nd pitch. He hasn't missed many bats tonight though!"
