Great Game Maud!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Way to GO CARDINALS!!! James Bowie played a great game and it is so nice to be... as another poster said... on the edge of your seats for a change. Again....GREAT JOB CARDINALS!!!!!! Keep it going..........Cant wait to Friday Night once again!!!!!!!!!!

I am so proud this is not a bashing site.....heck...the post has not even been on the first page in two days....I liked the post earlier from the bowie fan that spoke about how he believed in his Simms boys...I feel the same....both teams want thiswin and i feel it will be a much better game than it has been in the past few years....but I more than anyone BELIEVE in our MAUD MEN....The Maud Cardinals!! THis group of young men want this more than they have in the past three year....and I KNOW they will do it!! WE BELIEVE AND WE BELIEVE BIG! :highfive:

Well here we go another season....and it is going to be a GREAT one for the Maud Cardinals! Blake and Brady my two main boys are going to have a GREAT SENIOR year...and we are ready for some Friday Night Football tomorrow night! I am with the other posters that say not to under estimate those mighty Cardinals!! A break cant keep "The Snake" down. He's back!!!!!!!!!! I love you, Blake and Brady...go play your hearts out!!

"I" BELIEVED YOU!!!!.....LOL...just everyone knows you are a maud supporter and expects you to say that....lol.....dont be crushed...i believe the lack of any other posts with a different response is proof that there is nothing to back up that it is the other way. You can see where the post has been viewed many times and no one is arguing....lol. But yes...I believed you and knew early on that this was correct. I just didnt want to say something that was not so. LOL...have a great day!!!!!! I am sure you wont let me live this one down for a while!!!

someone called to say that these sorts of "rulings" are made by each district at their meetings and they have to go back and see what was decided in the minutes...and it was decided in the minutes for our district that if there was a tie like this with these circumstances would make it a head to head type deal...and Maud would be the District Champ due to the fact that Bowie's two losses were both to Maud. I wish someone with some authority would make an official post on here......I just dont want to be saying we are tied if we are not....or that we are district champs is we are not. I feel very convinced with this phone call....does anyone from Bowie not recall this?

I just want someone who knows what they are talking about to answer the question.....I realize that we (Maud) have two losses...and Bowie has two losses...some say we are tied....I even read a post on Facebook that people from Bowie were claiming that they were"DISTRICT CHAMPS" with no mention of a tie....then I have others....even coaches that are not affiliated with either school saying that Maud is District Champ and Bowie is second because they loss to us both times. I know this will probably get something started...BUT...I JUST WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH from someone who knows for sure......I dont like repeating something that i dont know is correct. Bowie played a good game tonight...Great Job Pirates!!!

Blake was released yesterday in Little Rock by the spine specialist!!!! :happy65: No Brace!!! No Limitations!!! :bounce: THis is an answered prayer. He should not have recovered this fast and this well...BUT HE HAS!!! RATTLESNAKE is BACK!!!!!! Thank all of you for your prayers....they have been answered. THis doctor said that he is at no greater risk than any other player!! God does answer prayers...we KNOW this to be TRUE!!!! :rolleyes: GO Cards!!!

Thank you ALL sooooo much for all the prayers!!!!!! If there is anyone out there that doesnt belive in the power of prayer, they need to visit our family for a little talk!! Blake and our family have been blessed with the out come of all of this....and we are so thankfull to the our friends, family, and all the the people we have never even met that have prayed for Blake and his recovery. Blake is very thankful and he KNOWS all about the power of Prayer...as this is not our first time down this road with him! THe update on Blake is that when we went to Little Rock to the spine specialist they said that in one weeks time( from the last MRI ) that c5 had already started to heal and make changes from the images in the first mri taken a week earlier. They say it is just a miracle that Blake has done as well as he has. Those of you that KNOW Blake may not find that hard to belive, because you know that this is one strong young man not only physically, but both spiritually and in mind! We will go back on the 14th and if at that time he can move his neck forward and backwards without there being any movement of the spine showing in the x rays they will let him remove the collar at that time. Blake in his mind has a goal to run track in the spring....yes TRACK...he LOVES track!! Until then we also have plans to see if at this time they can do the surgery necessary to his right eye to allow him to possiably regain his sight in his right eye. (for those of you that don't know...Blake had an accident when he was twelve and lost his sight in his right eye) All of this is Blake's plan to be ready to play Maud Football again next year as a Senior. ******There is ONE thing that Blake has asked for that no one has been able to come up with.....and that is the actual film of his hit that took him out of the game that day. Cayuga said they had it, and that they would send it but we have not recieved it. The video teacher at Royce City said he was going to look to see if they had it but we have not heard back from them either. This is something I dont personally understand...but BLake really really realy really wants to see the hit...and has not been able to do so as of yet. Maud's cameras did not pick it up, and he has been very disappointed that he has not seen it yet...so if anyone can help us out on that..you would make his day. Thank you vandalmom and the very few others on this post that have asked about Blake # 22..... Blake is home and if you knew Blake personally you would know there is nothing that will keep this young man down...and this injury will not and has not either. HE broke two bones in his neck in saturday's game...(C5 and C6) he came home earlier this week after being transfered to Parkland Hospital later Saturday evening. For those of you that dont know this is how he spent his 17th Birthday!! Blake has already made progress in his recovey. When he was seen in LIttle Rock Arkansas Friday by a spine specialist they said he is on his way to a speedy recovery!! We are SOOOO THANKFUL for all the prayers and show of love and concern from our Friends and Family! God was certainly watching over Blake Saturday....and we are so proud. Blake has overcome other obsticles in his life before and he said this is just another stepping stone along his journey in life...he has a great attitude about this injury and life...people need to take a good hard look at life...and that is all I will say for now. Do not forget #22 because you will see him again next year!! Maud you had a GREAT year!!!..We love each and every one of you!!

As far as what you said about everything that happened last year repeating itself and that how none of the hard work over the summer means anything...just remember the same is true for Maud.....NO we wont be like last year...our young men have put in countless hours and hard work over the summer and through this season to this point....so it WILL be alot different from last year......BIGGER AND BETTER for the Cardinals....the Maud Squad...when we bring on the Maroon Doom. Lets not go talking about big suprises...we have several. We will all be back on here Saturday night with Power M with lots of little faces....there is just one problem....usually no one else shows up after the game. LOL see ya Saturday!!!!
