Those Mustangs had us on our heels in the first quarter, I think that may have shocked our defense into waking up. TAKES A HECK OF A TEAM TO PUT 20 POINTS ON OUR DEFENSE. Congrats to both teams on a great game. Thanks to the Tatum Eagle fans for their support at the game and good luck in yours. I second that. Thought ya'll really had our number in that 1st quarter. Those Mustangs played us tough and I agree I thought this game was second only to the Tatum game.

hsfootballfan, Your guys done pretty good, I thought they really had our number in that first quarter. I really didn't think our guys had even watched any film on them this week. They really rocked us in the first and I thought the third was gonna be a repeat of the first. But our guys got leveled out and started playing like their capable of doing. Game was fairly clean as far as penalties go, at least for us anyway. Those Mustangs were plenty tough, there were a few hits we put on your guys that I really didn't think they would get up from but they bounced on up. Congrats to ya'll on a good season and a great game, hope you'll show us some East Texas love and support as we move on to next week.

Man the football gods must be smiling on me, the wife's family reunion got canceled because of rain and I get to see both the EF game and the TATUM game, There's gonna be a little more ORANGE in the stands supporting you Eagles. Go JACKETS, Go EAGLES.

I have to admit after being on this thread all week I have seen some things that disturbed me, but the most disturbing thing I saw last nite in my own home, my little 9 year old daughter was in her room wearing her brother's EF helmet, stomping and kicking the #### out of her " my little pony " collection. I told her that would not be tolorated, so I took her outside, showed her how to crank the chainsaw and told her, " If your gonna do a job, do it right" , I hope she's learned a lesson. Everybody drive safe to and from the games, may the best teams win, and all players be healthy when the final whistle blows, Good Luck to All. See ya at the games.

Ya'll would be missed, but this district's teams are always tough. If one has an off year you can generally look for them to be back soon. And it really doesn't make any difference to Tatum, 2-A, 3-A and could probably be competetive in 4-A.

Also 103.9 out of Marshall, one or the other of these two stations should carry the game. Only thing is you probably won't be able to hear it over all the EF fans cheering after our touchdowns, probably 6 to 7 of them.

Has anybody heard what the EF coach is doing about all those penalties, other than not using that official crew again. With the kind of hard charging ball that EF plays, penalties sometimes come along with. But when ur flying through the air fixin to tear someones head off, sometimes you can't put on the brakes. They remind me of the Newton Eagles of the late 70's, anyone one who played them hated to come back out in the second half, and I speak from personal experience.

Mother-in-laws house Thanksgiving Day at Toledo Bend, Haul my rear end back to EF thursday nite, hunt friday morning,skin the thirty point buck, go to Gladewater and watch the terrible beating that EF is gonna put on HS. I can probably leave by the third quarter, seeing how the game should be over by then, except waiting for the clock to run out and for EF TO RUN THE SCORE UP MORE. Then drive back to Toledo, and make the wife's family reunion on time Saturday.
