Congrats to the PG Hawks! You guys have a phenomenal team! Good luck in the state tournament. The Farmers played well and were competitive in both games, but just one too many mistakes to overcome to beat a team as good as the Hawks. Congratulations to the Farmers on an awesome season and no doubt we will be right back there next year in AA ball! I will be pulling for the Hawks to represent our Region and win it all! Good luck and safe travels to Austin!

The Farmers are a well rounded baseball team with the depth to get it done. However, the mental mistakes will have to be eliminated to beat the Hawks as they do not make mistakes and are a very good baseball team. I hope this game is played closer to the D/FW area or I doubt I will be able to make it. Either way, may the best team win, and safe travels to all.

I hope that the Crockett controversy doesn't distract the Harmony team. Regardless of who they play this Saturday, I wish them well and will be rooting for them. I think they are fully capable of getting a win! They have a very stingy defense and with a good defense, they will be in any ballgame!

I think Argyle's defense will keep them in this game. Two very good teams matched up in this game. I would love to see it. I am going to go out on a limb and say that Argyle wins this one in a very close and relatively low scoring ballgame. Let's say 17-14...

Gilmer wins this game by as many as they want! VA has a phenomenal running back and a pretty good athlete at quarterback. However, that is just two offensive weapons, which is 90% of their offense. Gilmer's defense is a BEAST! They will shut down those two players and will score at will as VA's defense is very susceptible! Gilmer calls the dogs off by the 4th quarter and puts their back up players in. Good run for VA this year, but it comes to an end this week!

I watched Henderson play Paris a couple of weeks ago. Henderson does have some speed. However, they committed several mistakes and turnovers in that game. One thing Celina is good at is making a team pay when they turn the ball over or make a mistake. I think these two teams are pretty evenly matched. However, I give the edge to Celina if Henderson makes mistakes or turns the ball over. Celina's defense will cause a team to make mistakes. This game will come down to the wire. It will be a defensive battle and low scoring I think. If Henderson plays a perfect ballgame, I think they sneak out a win, but if they make more than a couple of mistakes, Celina wins this ballgame. Definately a game I wish I could come see. However, I will be out of town with family for the thanksgiving holiday. This will be an awesome game to watch! May the best team win!

Congrats goes out to Carthage on a dominating win over what I thought was a very good Argyle team. I have got to quit going against East Texas teams. :notworthy: The district of doom still has two teams going, however to my surprise, Henderson had quite a bit of a tougher time against Alvarado tonight than what I thought they would. Good luck to both teams next week. Congrats to Argyle and Alvarado on excellent seasons.

Hope I am not proven wrong again by yet another district of doom team, but I am going to say Argyle wins in a close one. Wished the game was played closer to the metroplex. I would love to see this game.

Going against the east Texas grain here and staying loyal to the metroplex and picking Wylie in a close game.

Congrats to Henderson. I really thought Lovejoy was the team to beat this year, but I was proven wrong yet again by another east Texas team. You guys will absolutely roll Alvarado! Good luck the rest of the way.

I don't see any reason why you guys can't compete for a state title this year. Didn't get the chance to go to the second game, but I heard you guys absolutely dominated us! Congrats and good luck on the remainder of the season. For the graduating seniors at Farmersville...hold your head high guys! You guys had one heck of a four year run! Best of luck to all the graduating seniors.

Souns like the Hawks had our number last night. Congratulations to them on the win. I hope we can get it together tonight and pull out a win and force a 3rd game. Hopefully the game does not get rained out as I think they are anticipating some stormy weather this evening in this area. Travel safe to and from the game.
