  1. Heading to California for the Rose Bowl.
  2. GP didn't yell at the Doctor because he was questioning his diagnosis, or because he wouldn't let the player back in the game, but rather his failure to tell anyone on the staff about the injury. The Doctor then got a little creative when talking to someone with a medical journal. He got caught in a lie and apologized. In order to allow the Doctor to save face, GP apologized for yelling at him. Thats it.
  3. I love that picture 50,307 I'm just now starting to recover from last weekend, not quite as young as I once was.
  4. Immortal, I know you put that video up for the block on #11, but it kinda makes Shipley look silly, thinking he can go airborn then getting jerked down like that.
  5. In case you were wondering how some East Texas boys were doing at TCU. All are major contributors for the #6 ranked Horned Frogs. Matthew Tucker (Chapel Hill) is getting more and more PT every week. Averaging close to 5 yards per carry with 3 TDs. TCU rotates 3 backs all game and Tucker cracked the rotation game 1 and has looked very good. Wayne Daniels (Kilgore) starting at DE, has 3 or 4 sacks already. Daniels has been lights out this year (his 1st as a starter). Nic Sanders (Kilgore) 4th year as a starter at Corner. Missed a game because of the flu (I think). I've heard some say that Nic Sanders plays the run better than any CB in the country. He was voted the "Hardest Hitter" by the MWC coaches at the preseason Media days. Luke Shivers (Whitehouse) starting at Fullback. Mainly used as blocking back, but has scored 1 TD this year. Luke doesn't get the ball much but when he does he makes it count. 5 touches 4 TDs at TCU. Tekerrein Cuba (REL) has started the last few games at FS. The sky is the limit for Cuba and you can tell he is really making strides at FS. Jason Teague (Carthage) has seen plenty of PT at Corner, even got a few starts when Sanders was sick. Might be the best pure Corner for TCU and he doesn't start. Next year one of the CB spots will be all his. Corderra Hunter (Longview) started a few games at SS this year. Has played in every game the last few years. Has played all 3 safety positions for the Frogs. Clarence Leatch (Tatum) backing up AA Jerry Hughes at DE but has played quite a bit, even picking up a sack. If you haven't seen Clarence since his Tatum days you probably wouldn't recognize him. He has got to be close to 250lbs. and a natural at DE. With Hughes moving on Leatch will likely start next year. Jake Kirkpatrick (REL) first year starter at Center, replaced a guy that got drafted, and he may be better. Trevius Jones (REL) pretty sure he has gotten in a couple of games this year. Only a RSFrosh. Will get more PT next year. Ray Burns (DT), Bryant House (DT), and James Dunbar (OT) form Maud are all Redshirting this year.

  7. Ok, at least you can admit it, now we are getting somewhere. If you will PM me your address I'll burn you some stuff and send it to you. Because I think if you would give them another listen you would stop lumping them in with bands like the Eagles, CCR, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. They were much more than that, much more than another folk band, and they did make great albumns. It is rumored that one of the reasons Clapton left Cream was because of Music from the Big Pink, even trying to join The Band at one point. I can help you, please just give me a shout, I think your mind will be changed.
  8. Dude, an early version of the Eagles? Please take that back. I know you are one of the resident, self proclaimed music know-it-alls, but your credibility took a huge hit with that statement. And similar sound to CCR? I'm floored, really. Have you really actually listened to The Band? I can kinda see where people want to give Dylan all the credit for what The Band was doing. But that will usually come from people who admit to not knowing what they are talking about, not a music snob like yourself. And comparing them to the Eagles? I'm not sure I can even help you at this point. "To be honest, it comes to their harmony, and they didn't capture it." (I gotta be honest...I #### my pants a little when I read this part. Classic.)
  9. North Mississippi All-Stars - Bonnaroo '07
  10. How exactly is The Band overrated? If anything they may be one of the most underrated bands ever. Just because you don't like a band doesn't make them overrated.
