So obviously you have to go really deep in the playoffs to make all region? Too bad for the few really good ones that play for a bad school team. They get nothing!

What about Jordan Norris from Lindale - didn't see his name. Surely that was an oversight!

He did play on Varsity his freshman year. I saw him myself. He played with my nephew. You're right he didn't play last year because of injury.

The one from Whitehouse. He didn't get alot of playing time but he does sport a letter jacket with a varsity letter and patch

I question how a kid could get Newcomer of the Year if he lettered on Varsity the year before. I thought you had to be a new varsity player to receive that honor.

Did anyone hear or post the selections for all district from the lindale district yet? Haven't heard a thing.

My thoughts would be Norris of Lindale would be the only one that is a for sure. Possibly Fincher and Kulak from Pine Tree and maybe the twins.

I misread the post. I thought we were talking about All East Texas. SO forget what I said earlier. Probably only Lindale and Pine Tree might have a chance at getting a player on the state team.

I hope that standouts from other schools that didn't make playoffs don't get slighted. That's usually the way it goes. Even Kilgore, Hallsville and Whitehouse have a deserving player or 2.

Next year when they get those JV club players, I see them going all the way.

The parents need to get a grip on the Lindale side too. Wins come to the humble not the ego trips. Don't ruin it for the kids. And as far the ref - are you too surprised? He hasn't had a good game all year!

Some people need to remember that having a club player is awesome for the team but they don't win the game by themselves. WH and Henderson also have kids that play on that same club team but don't have the core to do it alone. Lindale and Pine Tree haven't made it this far just because of those club players or there would be some other schools right there with them.

Don't know what you meant by that other than in school ball the twins excel and are standouts but in club they are evenly matched with other club talents - not near the standouts. Flash (Norris) on the other hand is even a stand out on his club team.
