Whatever Nb scores on us won't even be official, cuz technically, NB is 3A just pretending to be 2A You NB guys have been one class larger for a decade now so stop frontin' Can you clarify this statement on classification? I looked at enrollment numbers and NB only had 3 more students than d'field. Just curious what you mean by that...

Observation made this weekend... I'll be the first to say that I appreciate fan involvement. I love a loud, rowdy crew as much as the next guy. However, I saw something this weekend that really made me think. Basketball playoff game and the underdogs are down by 14. They finally get the momentum and start making a come back. Needless to say the crowd is going ####. Unfortunately, not all of the shouting is in the way of positive remarks. They get within 4 pts and the opposition only has 1 timeout AND their leading scorer is gasping for air and needs to come out. The fans get so unruly that the officials have to call a time out! It was the fans of the team that was down - they actually gave the opposition a free time out! It completely altered the course of the game. I hope they feel dumb, really dumb, for real!

Any word on the kid from NB that was carted off last night after opening kickoff?

Please be in prayer for Susan Starrett - she is the wife of Malta principal Stacy Starrett. She was shot this morning at her home and is in surgery.

Ended up at the NB/PG game last night (couldn't decide) and very glad I did. Very good game. PG was up by at least 23 pts at half, had the makings of a blowout. NB came back fighting and made it a ballgame, got it into overtime. NB was very well coached and ended up winning by 4. Overheard a parent say "at least it wasn't 2!" NB/LE will be a good game if NB comes to play like they did the 2nd half.

I agree that it's getting worse all the way around - students & parents. I've talked to some of the kids at our school about cheering/having fun but not making it personal or disrespectful.
