I know this comment doesnt have nothing to do with what you all are talking about but the Lady Cats are "Hot" :wub: LOL................. Anyway, I think they are going to win this one in a very close game, I have seen them play and they are really good. Personally, I think they can even match up with a guys soccer team. House 1-0

Thats true Sawemoff, I know what it feels like to lose a game that you though you should have win. After we lost to Marshall all I did was to wish them the best and eventough I felt some kind of disappointment, I still shake their hands and play with class the whole game. I know 'elchido' has post that we were better than Marshall, but don't worry about him, he is not even on the team. You all guys from Marshall did what it takes to make the playoffs and no one can take away credit from that. I wish the best to all the seniors from Marshall and it was definitely a great season!

Were you at the game? Probably not! Anyway, It was a really good game and we both played our best game. Athens was good enough to beat a lot of teams this year but I guess our record doesn't show it that way. I think Lindale is a great team but Athens was as good as Lindale was, thats why they looked like they didnt have their "A" game. The outcome of this game is not going to be base on the season, is going to be on who wants it more. Dont get me wrong, I'm not saying Lindale is not as good as the people is saying, but I just dont think they are going to win this game so easy! Anyway I still say Lindale 2 Brenham 1 in Shoot Outs!!!!

I guess you think Athens is weak right! Well, they might not be as good as they were last year, but they also play Lindale and you can ask Lawdog if you dont believe me but it was not easy for them to beat us. Brenham is a really good team and they have a pretty good chance to win this game, Lindale is pretty good as well so I think we are going to have a great game tonight. I wish the best to both teams!

That is an outstanding record for Nacogdoches, I didn't know they were doing so well this year. Anyway, just remember that stats don't win the game. Good Luck to both teams anyway and I think Nac is going to win 2-0.

I see what your point is, but all I am trying to say is that I have seen both of the team's shooters and yea I was goalie for both SO games and I actually did swap out with our starting goalie, but anyway I just think Lindale has better shooters than Brenham because the goalie isn't the one responsible for wining the SO, the shooters are! No disrespect to the goalies but that is the truth. If the shooters don't score, you can't win.

The Brenham game was early on the season but it was a great one. We end up 2-2 and then beat them 3-1 in SO. The Lindale game was 2 weaks ago and it was probably one of the games ever. We tied 2-2 in regulation and then 1-1 in OT, then we went to 7 shooters and lost 3-2 in SO. I am pretty sure this teams are playing better now but Im still thinking Lindale is going to win the game.

I have played both teams this year and I know how good both of them are. I think Lindale has a lot of good players at top, but their deffense is not as good as their offense. Brenham is the same way, but they have a pretty good goaly. It might be funny but I also when to shoot-outs with both teams and I think Lindale has a better chance to win if they go to SO because their goaly is pretty good at it. I'm not trying to take away any credit from the Brenham's goaly but that is just what I think. My prediction is Lindale 2-1 in Shoot Outs.

Brenham has a lot of experience in playoffs and they know what it takes to win games. I played both team and Brenham has a good defense and they also have pretty good players at top. Marshall doesn't have a very good defense, but they have a solid offense. It should be a good game, I'll say Brenham 3-1

It was probably the most exciting game of my life. I couldn't do anything to stop my team for losing, but we all put our hearts into the game and couldn't win. I just want to say thanks to all my friends on the Athens soccer team for these amazing 4 years of soccer. I will miss them a lot, but my years as a High School Soccer Player are now over, but I am living with my head up because I know we did everything that was on our hands to win every single game that we have played at Athens. Congratulations to Lindale, Pine Tree, and Marshall. :notworthy: I hope you do well in playoffs and hopefully I can catch some of you Seniors in college. It was a great year for soccer thanks to all the teams in my District. IT WAS THE BEST YEAR EVER!!!!!!
