3A Bi-District @ Forney tonite Canton 46 Crandall 43 in OT Area round Thursday nite at Spring Hill L-E vs. Canton

Canton girls will play Crandall on Monday nite at 7:00pm at Forney.

Thomas Hightower will be the DC at Daingerfield this season. Coach Hightower has coached the secondary for the Tigers the past four seasons and is also the Head Track coach. He played ball at Tatum and SFA and will do an outstanding job.

I believe the people of Paris will have alot to look forward to this season and seasons to come. Coach Bowman has a way with kids and they always seem to want to play for him so them buying in will not be a problem. You can count on them having good schemes on both sides of the ball and being well coached. Good Luck to that staff and those kids this season.

I believe that the plans are for her to continue coaching in DF at the JH.

Daingerfield's QB Coach/OC/Baseball Coach Cody Burgin has accepted a coaching position with James Bowie HS. During the past three seasons Coach Burgin has been instrumental in the development of Tyler Boyd at the QB position and the DF passing game overall. The coaching staff here in DF wants to wish him the best of luck and he will be missed both on the field and in the classroom. Bowie just got better!

any idea on what they are going to do now or what the time table may be? Thought Chris Smith was the OC at Carthage....pretty sure he wasn't leaving anytime soon. Adair would be a good fit IMO......his kids have always played hard at Center, Jasper, Hemphill and Rusk.

congrats to Coach Smith and the Troup Tigers on a big win and congrats to the Arp program on a great run of 66 straight wins....that's quite an accomplishment in any league. Good Luck to both squads in the playoffs.
