What a nightmare for all involved! Prayers from Lindale!

This year will be interesting between CH girls and Lindale girls for sure! Lindale lost 8 or 9 seniors, and that's gonna hurt. But we also have some good solid juniors coming up that have been playing for many years in rec. with those outgoing seniors, so that old team isn't gone yet :-) I'm glad to hear Ashley Aparicio is in good shape and will be returning. She's a really good player and should have an awesome senior year!! FYI, I hear Coach Hicks won't be coaching the girls soccer program next season. Might just be a rumor, but that's what's going around town. I just hope we don't wind up with a tennis, golf or volleyball coach this time. :-)

I just wanted to add a personal note to this. My daughter is a year behind Maddie, so I've only had the pleasure of watching her play for a couple of years. She is an excellent soccer player! She makes it seems almost effortless. Even when she had 2, 3, and even four people riding her back up and down the field, she maintained her composure and stayed focused. Every time I got to watch her play I learned somthing new. Truely an amazing young lady. Plus, she is a very nice polite girl off the field as well. I look forward to reading about her in the future and wish her all the best!!

I sure do feel for that PT player! That's gotta be tough. Congrats to Lindale and GOOD LUCK TOMORROW!

Strange as it may be, I'm gonna have to take up for Coach Hicks a little. He's doin alright. They may have gotten off to a slow start, but he's pulling his team together, utilizing all his players and seems to be making an honest effort. Gotta give it to him.

Toohot, Don't you go pulling me back into this! I opened my mouth and blew off steam when I should have stepped back and put some thought into what I said. At least I had the common decentsy to applogize for being a major horses butt! Plus, I don't recall anyone jumping on that particular rant of but you! Like I said, you just like to stir it up! I don't think you really care about any one school sport or coach in particular, you just like to run your mouth year round. Leave me out of this one boy, I'll pick my own fights and I'll always be on Lindales side!

I want to offer my sincere apology to Coach Hicks for my tasteless criticism on his coaching style. I should never have made such statements about him on a public forum. I not only insulted him, but I insulted the entire team and created an uncomfortable situation, that was never my intention. My comments were rude and thoughtless. A person who has never taught, or coached and just sits on the sidelines is hardly in the position to judge someones else's job performance or his dedication, but I'm ashamed to say that is exactly what I did and I am deeply sorry.
