  1. Legal residence within the school district is the first and foremost priority.....then and only then would it be a 15 day waiting period.........that is regardless of what time of year the transfer happens.......if they check in before the first two weeks of school and have legal residence within the school district then they are eligible right away..........but legal residence is the main issue
  2. What classification a school is has nothing to do with whether or not a transfer can play varsity right away or not.
  3. this is a done deal and it is JH football
  4. Congrats to Hank. Good hire for Bullard.
  5. So, congratulations! You went out on a limb saying that the supt. will make the recommendation to the board and the board will make the final decision. WOW! That is high level brain surgery there, especially considering that is the "formal protocol" for ANY ISD hire that is made. Let me assure you there is NO speculation in ANY of my posts. The supt. has not been involved in ANY interviews. The AD has done all the interviewing which means he will make a decision, pass that choice to the supt., who will in turn, make a recommendation to the board. So, yeah, you were right
  6. Find it kind of odd that people think the supt. is involved when there were multiple interviews held last week and he was involved in NONE of them. Too many people on here speculate.
  7. Supt. is not involved in the hiring process at all thus far
  8. 3 have interviewed and one has pulled their name and surprisingly enough NONE of them are from east Texas. :getlost:
  9. There were no interviews yesterday or today. There will be a couple early next week and a decision by midweek.
  10. All the personal plugs for buddies are quite entertaining and while I don't have "a dog in the hunt" I wonder if anyone on this board has ever been south, west, or southwest of Tyler
  11. Gainesville won it all in 2002, not in 2000. Gainesville got beat by Mexia or Waco LaVega in 2000.
  12. huh? Are you referring to the Lufkin coach as the one who has already been offered?
  13. Professionally speaking, yes you do. First, lets deal with facts. The article said there were 22 applicants. In that case, you COULD make a phone call but, ANYONE that takes the time to apply deserves some sort of response (usually a blanket letter) to let them know they are no longer part of the process. IF it takes all week to get those letters put together then you do it because that is the professional way to handle things.
