White Oak lost to Crawford in game 2, 8 - 4. The Ladynecks again out hit The Lady Pirates, but costly errors in the 4th inning were their downfall. I believe all 8 of Crawfords runs were unearned, but they still counted. Credit where credit is due, Crawford is a dang good team and deserved to win as they took advantage of every opportunity, but I for one was so proud of W.O. because they never gave up and fought and scratched until the final pitch even after a horrendous 4th inning. I enjoyed every inning they played this year, and am already anticipating a great year next year. Good luck ladies. Work hard this summer, and hopefully take the final couple of steps next year.

White loses to Crawford 2 - 0 in game 1 of a best of three. The Lady necks out hit Crawford 8 to 6 according to the paper but couldn't get the timely hit. White Oak left 9 runners on base including having the bases loaded in the 1st inning with no outs and loading the bases again in the second with 1 out. Game 2 is tonight at 6:00 in Corsicana with a third to follow if necessary.

White Oak defeats Troup in a one game playoff 2 - 0. The Ladynecks will play Crawford in a best of three series starting Thursday night in Corsicana. Second game is Friday at 6:00 with a third to follow if needed

White Oak defeats Kirbyville 2 to 0 to advance to the regional quarterfinals. The Ladynecks will face Troup in a one game playoff Friday night at 8:00 in Mineola.

I believe Kirbyville came back to win this series after Elkhart was forced to forfiet game 2 for using in ineligible player. White Oak will play a one game series on Friday night. Haven't heard the location yet.

White Oak plays Elkhart in a three game series Friday and Saturday in Bullard

White Oak's first round playoff series has been changed from Lindale to a home and away series. First game Thursday night at 7:00 in Frankston, Second game at 7:00 in White Oak. Not sure if the third game if needed will follow the second, or if they will play at a neutral site on Saturday.

I have heard that W.O.'s first round playoff opponent will be Frankston. They are the 4th place team in 18AA. Games to be played in Lindale next Thursday and Friday Really nice facility in Lindale

White Oak beats Tatum 3 to 1 to clinch the district title. the Ladynecks have 2 games left to play. I believe Tatum and E.F. are both 9 and 3 and have to play their second round game. I think this will decide who finishes 2nd and 3rd. Not sure of who is in 4th now, Should be some good match-ups with district 18AA.

Last night W.O. defeated E.F. 4 to 2 to remain unbeaten in district at 11 - 0. I believe E.F. is 8 - 3, while Tatum is 9 - 2. W.O. and Tatum play this Friday in White Oak. Not sure about the rest of the district standings. I do know that E.F. and Tatum still play one more time in the second round of district.

White Oak finishes first half of district play 7 - 0. How did the rest of the district finish the first half?

With 1 game left in the first half of the district schedule it appears That the White Oak Ladynecks will be sitting in the catbird seat with a 7 and 0 record. E. F. should finish at 6 and 1 and Tatum at 5 and 2. I'm mot sure who is in fourth but would guess New Diana might be in the hunt. Any thoughts on how this district might play out? Possible 1st round playoff pairings?
