Yes... it's the same family. Also, I need to correct myself... there were still two people inside the building when it was on fire, but they got out safely.

Just under a month ago, everyone was hearing about the terrible incident that happened at the Overton Christmas Parade. Well tragedy has stricken the small community once again... A fire broke out in one of the main parts of downtown. Thankfully no one was injured, but the Peanut Butter Emporium, a small church, and Mustang Cleaners were all destroyed in the fire, along with a small apartment/living area above the Peanut Butter Emporium. The family that lived there were the owners of the Peanut Butter Emporium, but thankfully no one was home and no one was injured. Please pray for our community!

I just heard from my friend, and she said that her cousin, (Colby,) is doing okay. Please continue to pray!

I just heard from a close friend that the boy who was originally flown to Dallas (Dakota) has had two rods put in his legs, and from what I understood, he came home today. I am still waiting for my friend to update me on Colby. Everyone just keep praying!!!

Never make fun of another town.... without using a picture to describe it! Never misspell your own school's name... unless you plan on being publicly humiliated. Never threaten to steal moonpies from anyone from Daingerfield! Never make fun of the band or those in it! :happy65:

One of my friends is Colby's cousin... they thought he was doing good, but he got worse all of a sudden, but my friend just told me that he is in Dallas, and they are doing an MRI to figure out exactly what's wrong... Everyone keep praying for all those involved. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it!

Still Praying from Overton/ New London. Hang in there!

Praise God!!! I just heard from the pastor at my church. He was at the hospital in Tyler and they have reported that there were, in fact, no fatalities! All of the cub scouts are okay, and are starting to come around. But I will mention again, there were no fatalities. Please do not cease to pray though!! God is so good!

I just heard from a friend, one of the kids' family members, that one of the 8 year-olds, named Colby, is okay. Just had some stitches under his chin and tire marks across his face, but he is okay. Please continue to pray.

Some of the kids there were from New London (West Rusk) and I just received information that one of them did not make it. Your Prayers are definitely needed in New London, Overton, Arp, and Troup. As far as I know it was an 82 year old man that came along at about 35mph. My family is definitely praying for all those involved in this tragedy...
