  1. It's very long but worth the read http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,402483,00.html
  2. Well since freelance writer sarah miller says it then it must be true and theres no chance it it was taken out of context at all or one of the billion other circumstances it could have been... Maybe someday people will learn not to trust the media so much :getlost: I'm not defending her or her actions by the way
  3. I guess i missed the wedding ceremony when hunter and mrs. edwards got married... She's wrong and a bad person but regardless Mr. Edwards is still worse IMO By the way, it's not very useful to try to convince me your opinion is correct because it is just an opinion and it's obvious i have a different one and as i learned in 1st grade the difference between fact and opinion is that facts can be proven(either right or wrong) and opinions can't.
  4. I still think he's worse. Don't get me wrong she is bad too but he's the one who actually cheated on his sick wife and then (probably) gave money to her. I'm not even sure why we're debating who is worse? It seems like a pretty silly thing for us to waste our time arguing over.
  5. They are both scum but to have the person you supposedly love most in this world sick and possibly near death and you're out there sleeping with other women definitely puts an extra strike against him in my book. It's sad that the other woman would rather have money(although there is no proof she is getting any but probably is) but it is also understandable especially if she isn't financially well off. Would you rather be able to put food on the table for that girl for the rest of your life and be able to send her to college and let her make a better life or know that the father is Edwards and not receive anything? The decision is pretty easy for me.
  6. Baylor has 1 McDonald's All American (tweety carter) and 1 other player who was ranked in the top 50 (LaceDarius Dunn) in high school. Jerrells, Dugat, & the other good players weren't highly recruited out of high school. I'm pretty sure Baylor wouldn't risk violating NCAA regulations again... It would mean a very harsh punishment for both the school and the coach.
  7. wow thats pretty shocking... RIP Bernie
  8. I think things that can be done in class should be done in class without the laptop but i like the idea of kids being able to actually learn what its like in zimbawe rather than just where it is. Technology offers a lot of options for educators that they haven't had in the past but it doesn't mean some old fashioned things should be abandoned
  9. Or because of all the positive media attention, a promising young coach and a very positive future that looks like will have them in the top 25 this year and going back to the tournament.
  10. I think you're right... unfortunately  It should be based on wanting to be a teacher for reasons other than money but we live in a greedy society that usually thinks first about money and then about helping others. I do believe there is a lot of work to be done however...
