Gunter wasnt lucky, they were good. They took advantage of opportunities and deserved to win the game.

Lone Oak was the better team.... However, did not deserve to win today. Perhaps the coach will consider scheduling some 3A or real good 2A schools next year.... Their weak schedule showed today, they were in awww of actually getting hit back. They made too many mistakes, rallied too little too late. Gunter will be a force to be reckoned with for the next couple of years. Well coached, young group of good athletes.

this is very true. as for Lone Oak's crowd... It was hard to find a seat- at least til halftime! I disagree completely that any 3A school could hold that crowd.

Friday 2:00 pm at Princeton... First, Im very surprised Gunter beat H Springs. Gunter seems to be a young team getting better each week but can they hang with the Buffaloes? Also heard this stadium wont hold the crowd, anybody been there? Last week at Commerce Lone Oak was visitor and it was sholder to shoulder. Not sure why they wouldnt have chosen a larger stadium but idk what kind of crowd Gunter will bring. If there are an HS folks out there please share your thoughts on these Tigers cuz they are very much under the radar on Smoaky..

Cooper couldnt put a drive together, they had some speed but it was big play or nothing for them on offense all night.
