Not just playing around in a field.

    Oh Happy Day!

Well do you want your son cryin like a little baby when he gets hurt?? I don't think so. D-Wade flops around like a fish out of water every time he hits the deck even if he's not hurt. Usually he's out on the court 5 seconds later after he rolled around in pain acting like there's nothing wrong. I bet he comes back next week. He's just lookin for attention. That was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while: Wade crying on the bench b/c of a separated shoulder. He was even wheeled out on a wheelchair. Can I ask WHY?? He separated his shoulder! He didn't break his leg in half! IMO D-Wade is just a little pansy who just wants attention and i hate that b/c he's such an amazing player. BTW Dallas wins by 20+ points tonight. I'm as big of a Mav fans as anyone, but it's guys like this that give Maverick fans everywhere a bad name. First off, he was in a wheelchair because the doctor told him to have the arm completely immobilized, which was impossible if he walked. He might flop everytime he gets pushed, but if he can get away with it, then why not? Seems like he's playing pretty smart basketball. Dirk is just as bad anyways. If you paid attention to anything going on in the NBA today you would know that D-Wade is one of the classiest, most humble guys in the league today. Forget talent, I wish every team had 12 guys with Wade's heart and work ethic. If you want to hate a guy because he single handedly beat our Mavs in four straight games, then go ahead. I for one am not going to stoop that low.
  3. Why would the Knicks tank to give the Grizz the first pick? Thats not very well thought out.
  4. No you couldn't. The whole point is that a player's career can drastically turn around in two years.
  5. Absolutely nothing, but crabs started this whole ordeal when he said according to Ags, Jackson should be POY. I don't know what it is about Tech, but they have our number. I would like to see them in the Big XII tourney to get one more chance. I really don't see them beating A&M three times in one season, but then again I didn't see them beating A&M at Reed either.
  6. I still think it's way too early to be saying any of these three will or won't go pro. They have all proved they are capable in the past, and they all have two or three more years to progress. Look at Colt Brennan. Although he is in a good system, look at where he was a few years ago. He was a walk-on at CU, where he got arrested and kicked off the team, then went on to play at Saddleback Community College before going to UH. I bet at that time no one thought he would be a NFL draft pick one day.
  7. Just because you don't like Kobe doesn't mean he's not the most talented. What has Kobe done in a long time that is arrogant? I agree, Nash is the best player, but Kobe has the most natural basketball talent in the league, much like Durant does. Your exactly right about Nash. He does a great job of making everyone around him better. That's why he will probably be the MVP for the third straight season. Once again I would like to stress that I think Durant will win POY, before anybody twists my words. The POY award should go to the one player who exemplifies the best individual performance. The MVP should be the guy with impressive stats who leads his team to a title or close to it. Unfortunantly for Acie, there is no Big 12 MVP.
  8. What's the difference? I'm guessing the national player of the year award doesn't go to the best player it goes to the best player on the best team. That's not true or Adam Morrison wouldn't have been up for it last year, even though he didn't win it. And Jokaim Noah (sp) would be up for the honors this year. He's talked about but everyone knows he will not get it. POY and MVP are basically the same thing and yes, I realize BIG 12 usually gives out the POY to the number one seed in the big 12 tournament. But then again, they've never had a player like Durant. Like I said, I'm not a texas fan nor am I an aggie fan, I love the big 12 in general and POY is Durant. Acie Law is a great player, and a great point guard. But the fact remains, he will not win BIG 12 POY, mark my words. Law makes his team better. Durant makes his team better as well, just in different ways. Law can get everyone involved and score when needed. Durant can flat out dominate anyone in the nation and change the game BY HIMSELF. Any other arguments? That's what I'm saying. Law shouldn't win POY. Durant is by far the most talented player in the conference. But I see a difference in talent and MVP qualities. Kobe is the most talented player in the NBA, but he doesn't win the MVP award. Whether it's fair or not, the MVP should go to a guy on a first place team. Since the award is POY and not MVP, Durant should win.
  9. Are you insinuating something about Good? Not him personally, but let's face it. OU isn't the cleanest program around.
  10. I can think of plenty of rea$on$ player$ go to OU.
  11. I can't remember who it was on here, but someone said that there is a big difference in POY and MVP, and they were right on. Durant is the best player, but the Aggies are in first place, and Law has led them there.
  12. Which go hand in hand. Higher points mean more stars.
  13. I am glad you see it that way. ............................A$M.....UT Rivals Rank (Points).........8.........20 Recruits.................26........15 Ave Stars..............3.23.....3.60 Ave Pts................70.73....93.93 Based on Average Star rating Texas was #6 and A&M was #14. Scout.com Rank (points).......17..........13 Ave Star..............2.96......3.79 On an Average Star rating Texas was #4 and A&M was #17. Seems to me if was a split decision on the overall results, but a concensus that Texas got better talent. I don't feel shamed for some reason. Same thing this year. Tennesse in some services is rated higher than Texas. But they recruited 32 players to Texas' 25. But in average Star value, Texas is stronger. I was actually going by total number of stars, which is how the actual recruiting services rank the classes. BTW, thanks to all yall for ruining another thread.
  14. Guess what? Eddie Jones and Sergio Kindle and any other 5-star tu has had in the past few years aren't five stars anymore. Stars disapear once you hit campus.
  15. No, what I'm saying is that way too much emphasis is being put on recruiting rankings. Every sip always wants to brag about how much better tu's class is, but the 2005 class proves that it really doesn't make that much difference. Someone else pointed out that tu has dominated A&M in recruiting the past five years, and I pointed out that according to Rivals, they didn't in 2005. Coming out of high school, A&M had the better class. All I wanted to do is point out that tu does not always "hand pick" their recruits.
  16. The 2005 A&M class had eight four-stars and one five-star. That's a good class. And not all of them have worked out, which does nothing else than prove that rankings are highly, highly overrated.
  17. What's one frustrated comment I've written on this thread?
  18. I'm just going by what your beloved Ketch said.
  19. Not sure where you get this. I know PLENTY of Ags who hate Tech much more than tu. A&M isn't near as obsessed with tu as sips would like to think.
  20. If you want to be technical, A&M's 2005 recruiting class put tu's to shame.
  21. You continue to amaze me with your stupidity.
  22. I still feel just as good about A&M as I did this time yesterday. I sure am not worried about going to Austin and taking care of the sips.
  23. Good was the best player in the state when he was a tu lean, maybe even the nation. Now Snow is just as good.
