  1. Now that the LHN is on uverse, what towns is Uverse in? Quick search on att said marshall does not have uverse. Does anyone on here have it?
  2. I've seen this discussed in a couple of topics here. My belief is that if the majority of America wants his plan to come to fruition, then they vote the people in who will make it happen. So the first two years you may not see much done, but you would see him pushing his agenda--like all presidents. And at the mid-term elections, if The People want to see those changes, then they vote accordingly. So realistically, I expect another three years of deadlock in Washington unless America has a change of heart. Which could go either way. Democrats take back the House, and hold on to Senate and Presidency, then Washington starts passing legislation again. If the Republicans take Senate and Presidency and hold on to the House, then legislation starts moving. But as long as it is split, the two sides are so polar opposite I don't think anything major will pass.
  3. Our society is comfortable in their poorness, so they do not wish to better themselves. Things are just fine the way they are. I don't believe that we should put anybody out on the street without food, but a person has to become uncomfortable with their situation before they work to make it better for them and their families. I was recently on a trip to a foreign country where people are a lot poorer than anyone in the US, yet they worked hard everyday to provide for their families. We have to do something that helps the poor want to work to provide. But will it happen? I doubt it....
  4. You have much to learn about who people are on Smoaky. Me.... a nobody.
  5. This whole thing is money driven. UT wanted more from TV so they signed a deal. A&M wanted more money, couldn't get it, so they leave for greener pastures. Baylor if left out of a major conference will be out a Whole lotta money and will sue the SEC and AM so they can offset money lost. Its all about the money!
  6. Thanks Typer. Not too bad for a wolf in sheep's clothing. Just glad someone finally provided some sort of answer. Guess I will catch it on the radio, and watch whatever highlights hit ESPN or YouTube during/after game. Hook'em
  7. I know Typer...... come on, I know you know of a PLACE to watch it! Andybody else figured out somewhere? What towns carry etex and consolidated?
  8. Any bar/restaurant in area with the game??? They would have to be on consolidated communications or etex.

  10. Hares, what are you doing to prepare for the further devaluation of the dollar?
  11. I believe that those who are still like children will be saved. It is not my place to judge what constitutes "like children." Our Father will do that. And many "christians" are so wrapped up in being comfortable in life, that they fail to do what God has commanded us to do. Were the disciples comfortable? Was Jesus comfortable? Did they live it up? Nice fancy houses? The best donkey money could buy? A freezer full of food? NO! They were not comfortable in an earthly means, but they were comfortable in a Godly means. The work they did glorified God. They were comfortable with spreading the Word. And that is what I, as a Christian, should be comfortable doing. Going and making disciples. I truly believe that if you the Holy Spirit is living in you, then you will find a way to do as it is commanded. That is why I am traveling to a foreign country in July. That is why so many true believers are out helping the less fortunate in a personal manner, not by just throwing their money to those organizations. Jesus did not throw money at people. He threw himself on a cross for people. Okay, back on topic. We are commanded to go and spread the word to those who have not been fortunate enough to hear. So this should drive us to make sure that those people have a chance to hear about Jesus, not only in our home town, or country, but to the ends of the Earth. Please make plans to tell people of Jesus... somewhere.... soon. God Bless! NumbersGuy79
  12. I'll answer your question with another. Why does the Bible command us to spread the word of Christ to the ends of the earth, if those who don't hear it will be saved anyway? Just a thought. I'm going through a rather deep theological/spiritual change, thirst of knowledge.
  13. Since when did TCU make turbans? lol Has no one else noticed that!?!?! I kept waiting for a comment, but nobody said it, so I just had to say it.
  14. What kind of a crowd would you expect in Longview tonight? I'm thinking about bringing my boys over.
