Well, I'm just gonna say that last week a lot of people put big sandy getting beat by Shelbyville but they proved them wrong. Never count out the underdog.

From this past weekends Yamboree Marching contest, Union Grove recieved Best 2a band over both White Oak and New Boston.

Never count out Union Grove as a top contender.

If UG will play as good if not better than they did this past week, they could easily pull this one out.

Now that you are talking about this, I just wanna throw Union Grove Band into the aurgument. Good sound, always has a good military routine.

I have a feeling that we are gonna have one of the bigger bands in the district, maybe even in 2a.

Congrats on the sweepstakes but switching your marching style should not effect you concert season.

He played the solo on a picolo, not the tuba, I saw their performance at NAAMB.

At the Holly Lake tournament a few weeks ago, Union Grove was only behind White Oak by 4 strokes.

Go to youtube and type in Union Grove state performance and watch our state performance for this past november.

I am the tuba section leader, so I personally feel our low brass section is fairly good.

Union Grove is known as a straight military band, but this past year, we incorporated a little corp style part to our performance. It sort of put us over the top with what we had already. It goes to show that a good and determined band can pull off just about anything they want to, if they put forth the work.

Well thank you, im sure our band would appreciate that. Hopefully next year when we meet you guys during football season, we will have a pretty good little play-off between us. What in your opinion will be your strongest section next year.
