  1. Well, the coach doesn't play. He got them to the playoffs if you are using that analogy. On the other hand, consistency if a key factor in winning, especially playoff games.
  2. I'm pulling for Harleton
  3. I believe one of the two teams will be playing for State Championship when it's all said and done. Either team could possibly bring home the title...
  4. I would be willing to bet one of these teams from this district will be playing for the 2A State Title...
  5. Two major things happened this year for the Ladycat's to win district. 1. They moved from 2A to 1A 2. They have a couple of better players than last year, starting with the pretty good little freshman pitcher... Pitching is a must to be successful. GREAT JOB LADIES!
  6. Harleton beat WO? Did they play yesterday or something? Who won the Harm EF game?
  7. We all knew it was going to come down to this. This district is the toughest 2A in the state! You have three play-off spots, and I honestly feel the 1-6 place teams in this district would secure a playoff spot in other districts around the East Texas (or simply Texas) regions. It is a shame for the teams who didn't make it that you get to see deep round playoff games and they weren't even out of district yet. One of these teams WILL be down in Austin this year!
  8. Nope, I think WO beats Sabine, however, I think Harleton will bounce back from the WO loss and upset Harmony.
  9. i think WO will be 1 game shy of a playoff spot...
  10. With the regular season coming to an end, cast your vote. Try to see who will receive district awards... If you don't know their name just say what team and number or some type of description. Name up to five per category. (Maybe a little more in the pitching) Pitchers: Catchers: Infield: Outfield: Hitting: Fielding: Coaches:
  11. I guess that's why we should find schools with budgets that allow gourmet meals every night then at least huh?
  12. No fee for me considering I still have my credibility. If you feel you must make a sarcastic reply to this post as well, don't worry, I will not reply to it or any other of your posts.
  13. I don't totally agree with your first statement. I agree most dominant pitchers work harder than the rest, however, a lot of dominant pitchers just simply "work". In these smaller schools, most of these kids don't pick up a bat, ball or glove until a few weeks until the season starts while the dominant ones actually play summer ball or what not. I feel that is why when I read a lot of these posts about how "great" certain players are, I take it with a grain of salt. Some of them are actually great, but the majority of "great" ones talked about on here will not even pan out in juco if they even get there...
