Being from a larger school they would have also played on a select team, and if they had played 4 years or more on a select team they would have a scholarship to a Division 1 school or be drafted in to the majors skipping the minior leagues.

I can understannd where Cushing would be a stepping stone for coaches to move up the ladder. Looking back at the 12 how many did move on up the ladder to win 14 or more games in a season. maybe even a couple conective 12s.

If he was tired the first time, he must be extremely tired now. What I am tired of is someone who says BB coach and are talking about the baseball coach when they actually mean the basketball coach. This is just too confusing.
