  1. Spread it out and pass the ball.
  2. First time I have ever seen Cayuga play. Looked more like a well oiled machine than 5 high school boys. Great talent and sportsmanship and enjoyed watching them. Just based on what I saw this was a classy team with a classy coach. Best of luck the rest of the season. :flowers:
  3. Yep, Yep, Yep....It was Hawkins. Shameful too. Hawkins even gives the visitors their OWN coaches/film room, WITH heat/AC!!!!!! Classy place too! Then poor Floyd had to duct tape the tripod in there......sigh
  4. Hey bulldog.......You reckon he made enough to even buy the camera crew some new equipment? :whome:
  5. It is pretty simple. If you don't wanna pay, don't go. It's only five freaking dollars. Most of us spend more than that most days for snacks or sodas. As far as a coach getting "privs", that is exactly what it is.....a priviledge, not a right. Some places give them, some don't.
  6. Better be a big one, or you will be in trouble on here for making it too small for the folks who didn't bring their glasses to the tournament! HAHAHAHA!!
  7. Ummmm bulldog???!!!???? Hosing? :icon_eek:
  8. Is it a district tournament? If not, then why would they accept a district pass?
  9. Great game tonight Bulldogs! Congrats on the win. Now, go get Goldwaithe and bring that state title home to east texas! :thumbsup
  10. The weather was a factor for both teams. Lots of slips of the ball. The speed was there. 22 broke several times. He did look a little sluggish a few times, maybe the rain? Big Sandy caught him because they had a good angle of pursuit. The key to the game was Big Sandy's defensive line. The line was able to get penetration into the backfield and if they didn't make the tackle, they were able to at least get a hand on 22 several times to give the secondary time to react and get the correct angle to pursue him. They forced Shelbyville to punt several times also. Defense was on the field a LOT last night. They played hard and never gave up. Big Sandy's offense scored only once, special teams once and defense once. Big Sandy's offense had major issues containing number 70 for Shelbyville, he had a great night! All in all, it was a great game to see. IMO two really good defenses. I am a homer and am very glad Big Sandy won a great game against a great opponent.
  11. Agree!!! I bet Big Sandy was pentalized over 100 yds! Oh My Grapes!! How many stinking flags can they toss? One would think there would be a new medical condition being named soon! They could call it "Flaggers Elbow" or something!
  12. Great thoughts on the game and thanks for the luck. Here are my opinions for what they are worth. I agree that the game was close at half. It seemed like they were just trading touchdowns waiting on their defenses to step up. IMO the fumble return for the TD in the third, changed the momentum and Maud just didn't seem to recover. I think maybe them being a young team was part of this?.? Number 1 for the Cards was a complete joy to watch. He is a phenomenal athlete. Very versatile. Seemed to me that BS defense stepped up in the second half too and started hitting a lot harder. I agree with you on the mental mistakes. I am hoping Minter and crew will coach them out of that and they will play with much greater intensity as the season progresses. I am a Wildcat fan through and through and will always root for them to adapt and overcome. Like I stated above, these are just my opinions and you know what they are worth. I thoroughly enjoyed the game last night. Two fine schools with outstanding athletes that I hope do well the rest of the season. You know, I am a firm believer in the fact that all these guys, no matter where they attend school, get out there and practice, for the most part, the same number of days, hours, and in the same heat, rain, cold and then they put it all on the line each Friday night, to the cheers AND jeers from the fans, so, they ALL deserve our respect and admiration not condemnation simply because they were not the team with the most points at the end of 48 minutes of play. Ha! I guess I shall hop off the old soap box now(sorry)and end my rambling and just finish with this. Best of luck to Maud the rest of this season. Improve something each game. And to my Wildcats......Great job, keep improving and remember......It's the Gold that makes the difference! Love ya blue! :happy65:
  13. No Big Sandy players at the hospital at all that I know of. Before the game and moment of silence, they asked everyone to remember in prayer a Big Sandy student, Britnee Mount. She is in icu at Children's Hospital on life support.
  14. Gotcha. N E Ways......Hoping for some great football Friday night. :happy65:
  15. I am pretty sure CoachTobinReid has been the only B.S. person on here besides myself. B.S. fans have been real quiet the past few years on here. Definately rebuilding going on in B.S. Guys and coaches are working hard and getting better. No trash talk is wanted or coming from this Wildcat fan. Safe travel and safer game is wished for everyone. Good luck to all, and I am definately rooting for my Wildcats. Love ya blue!
