  1. 83 Tigers are the best, hands down. I watched the Katy game and I was at the Daingerfield/Carthage game back in 83 and the Tigers totaly dominated Carthage. That year Carthage was one of the best teams in 4A and had one of the best running quarterbacks and running backs in the state that year and went to the 4A semi-finals. Carthage scored the only TD on the Tigers that year and Carthage threw a long pass and the DB was going for the interception and tipped the ball up in the air and the Carthage WR caught it and ran it in for a touchdown. Other than that Carthge was never in the game offensively.
