Great season 'Stangs! Keep your heads up boys...NOTHING to be ashamed of....

Lady Buffs, District Champs, punched their ticket to Austin last night. Proud of my cousin, Coach Cummings and these young ladies. Have only got to see a few games this season, but have enjoyed getting to know some of the parents, grandparents, and fans. Special thank you to the "sweet ladies" who took in my dad, Coach Randy and Kerri Cumming's uncle, last evening at Grand Saline. We got home safe and sound...he was telling my mom about those "sweet ladies" from Lone Oak and how they took care of him this morning at breakfast.

It is always fun watching our local ladies do well at the next level. Like watching Haylie Nix, from Daingerfield, be so successful at Oklahoma a few years back.

Lone Oak Lady Buffaloes win best of 3 series....Game 1: Mt. Vernon 5 Lone Oak 3; Game 2: Lone Oak 3 Mt. Vernon 2: Game 3: Lone Oak 4 Mt. Vernon 0. This was a VERY hard fought series for both teams. Congrats to my cousin, Coach Cummings and her Lady Buffs! it has been a pleasure watching you on this run to AUSTIN. Good luck on Wednesday and Thursday at McCombs!

Coaching...the only job I have ever wanted...but also one of the few jobs where a man or woman with a college degree and a certificate to do their job can lose that job by making just ONE person's kid angry, if it is the wrong (or right) kid...depending on your point of view...and Oh Yeah, you only have a one year contract in the first place. Again, I love what I do...but sometimes it is VERY frustrating
