  1. There ya go. Stats thru the end of 2018 from the hall of fame statman himself Joe Lee Smith.
  2. Mart is amazing. They’ve played around 1160 games since 1912 and have been consistent almost that entire time. They’ve won a little over 2/3 of their games in 107 years. Unreal.
  3. Lol. WO-S is currently 406-98-3 with an 80.4% winning percentage. We’ve played over 500 games and won 406 games from 1977-2018. It took Gilmer from 1914-1990 to hit #406. We could go 0-300 over the next 30 years and still have an overall winning record. We’ve also made 8 state finals with 4 titles in the same 42 seasons. How many do you have in the past 105?
  4. 53-2 in the last 55 games. Good luck to all tomorrow with no injuries.
  5. It was actually 35-0 at halftime with 32 total yards. I was there at NRG in person.
  6. We took a knee on their 5 yard line to end the game. We have a little class like Carthage and don’t run up scores but keep trying. Salado went 12-2 and was pretty darn salty. They also averaged more points a game than PG until their last two games and we held them to a goose egg.
  7. Lol. Tired by the 2nd Q? We did shut out Wimberley in the 2nd Half. Halftime adjustments are our specialty.
  8. I did get to see 85 WOS vs 85 Yates. We were winning with 6 minutes left in the game but alas couldn’t hold on.
  9. Ummm... using those numbers PG’s opponents have a 54% winning percentage vs WOS’ with 58%. I’m not seeing your point. You do realize we didn’t play two games because of Hurricane Harvey? You can’t just look at raw stats comparing a 13 game season vs a 15 game season.
  10. They wouldn’t even have beaten 4A Bay City that year. Just my opinion. Bay City had the best defense in 4A that year and played a much tougher schedule.
  11. It’s gonna be really awkward next week with WO-S and Carthage sitting on the same side opposite Kennedale and Pleasant Grove given WO-S will DEFINITELY be pulling for Kennedale and Carthage will be pulling for PG.
  12. Of course I’m going with Kennedale purely for selfish reasons. We held them to 17 in regulation. They can be beat but no one’s shown any sign of doing that since then.
  13. WOS wins 23-20 in OT. 31 in a row. We should be fine until the Semis now: Although...
  14. WOS was ahead 38-0 last year. Coach T specializes in defending the Wing-T. Bring it.
  15. That puts WO-S as the current longest active streak. IF we get past Kennedale week 6 (and that's a BIG if) we should be safe for a couple of months.
  16. La Marque may have something to say in 3A especially without having to play in a district in which they will have no competition. The 3A Greater Houston Area teams will be tougher than 4A HISD.
  17. Tomorrow is what counts... the big schools. At least in regards to what the UIL is looking at which I agree is just $$. 5 of the 6 teams are much closer to NRG than AT&T with North Shore literally a 15 minute drive away. NRG also had the top level closed off Thursday and Friday and there were people lined up in the concessions watching at the end of the WOS game because there weren't seats except on the goals. The WOS side was completely full and it stayed that way with George Ranch. Another factor is the tradition of the schools and how far away they're traveling. A lot of schools playing haven't even been around for 10 years so don't have the fan base. I guarantee with Katy, North Shore, Westlake, Lake Travis and Cedar Park all playing tomorrow it will be a different story. IMO to be considerate it should stay central in San Antonio until Austin builds an indoor stadium. Otherwise rotate. There definitely is a home team advantage from the local crowds that are there to back their teams. North Texas is 1-3 so far, Southeast Texas is 2-0 with Katy and North Shore yet to play. Last year it was the exact opposite.
