  1. From what I've Normangee hasn't showed up in a while. I've only seen them play once in person. But judging by them putting up 40 at halftime on a couple of decent teams. I would expect better. I dont know if there's internal problems or going vanilla on lesser opponents. But in any case I think if Normangee comes to play it's over at the half. The team that played Carlisle last week shows up they lose by 2-3tds at least.
  2. Well sorry ive been away but adjust to what the other team is doing. Get the ball in the hands of the playmakers during critical moments. Discpline as not the whole team jumping offsides on 4th down. Yes Normangee scored points against lesser teams but when at team with equal talent had better coached kids what happened? #3 Was one of the best player they had this year on offense. How many times did he touch the ball in last years game against Big Sandy, The QB for next year how many snaps did he take at QB this yea even in blowouts. Coaching is about adapting making decisions for not just the next play but the next PLAYS. When is the last time Normangee got beat in the playoffs by a team with flat out better talent? Answer that then think about your coaching question again..
  3. I didnt see Ngee varsity play but twice. I did however watch there JH group. They averaged over 40 a game and didnt get scored on the entire season. That being said if the coaching doesnt improve all that talent coming up will be wasted.
  4. Sorry I havent read a previous page of the thread but I can say for certain #4 didnt finish the game thats why #1 went to QB. He also started at linebacker. #3 didnt play but one series of the 2nd half I think it was a hip pointer. 57 looked hurt but I think he played some more and 61 was hurt but he went back in if im not mistaken.
  5. Started out at SHSU there transfered a few times to some out of state D2s. Last i read he signed some contract with a football club overseas although was at the Ngee game lastnight..as good as Mayes was Ngee is about to have a back enter HS in the same mold that may be just as good.
  6. Here to eat my crow at least its on to turkey next week. I must say equal talent but even a neutral observer could see one team was much better coached.
  7. I believe Garrison will roll and use nothing but a vanilla scheme so i wont be catching it, If Normangee wins. I will however pull for Moody being the district mate that they are and they did some how rise up and smack Granger. Anything is possible..
  8. No you have to understand im always understating and cautiousbut people on this site are pretty cool and dont seem to flame too much so i thought its nice to spice it up without things getting ugly. Normangee is obviously no winning state this year but ill like to see them win at least one game. Admittedly i dont keep up with them like i used to and my view is ali like skewed because the only game i fully saw was against thrall. Im certain you all are better than them though.
  9. Grapeland faster as a team than #1 #3 and #4? If thats the case then with no sarcasm intended, I must say Normangee is in trouble. Jorrcarr Ill be back later to eat my crow if necessary but Im rolling with the panthers by double digits. Site unseen for Big Sandy.Silly prolly ..arrogant yes..but hey its all in fun just a game should be fun to watch. Hopefully not the turnover fest this time around well at least not on our part lol. Everyone have a safe trip though.
  10. Is Carlisle as good as they're scores look this year or actually that much better than ya'll? Ive never seen them play.
  11. Yea when you show up and play your best even if you lose you cant really hang your head for long. Its when you come out flat and lay a goose egg is when that "what if" sticks around a long time.
  12. I could be mistaken I just remember Normangee being in the redzone 3-4 times in the 1st quarter and I know #1 broke in the open field early on but perhaps those were punt and kick off returns. BS played the more discplined game obviously didnt look like Normangee adjusted. Reed was dominant last year during the season judging by the #s he put up. From the couple of games I saw Reed is the 3rd best option they have now. Defense will be the key and I really dont know what to say about there defense. Luckily this years game is before TG. Clearly the turkey didnt agree with them last year.
  13. Normangee scored 40 on Price Carlisle last year beating them 40-36 Big Sandy put up 7 against Price Carlise losing 14-7 Big Sandy beat Normangee 31-6 (although Normangee ran up and down the field they didnt score)
